Kitchen,dining area, living room and master bedroom are located on the upper level taking full advantage of the superior ocean views.Two lower level bedrooms have walk out access to ocean view deck. The upper and lower decks face the ocean. Amenities include,
    stainless steel appliances, outdoor gas grill, flat screen TV, WIFI, blue tooth speaker system.
    Recently added a EV Charging station.

We have vacationed in York beach many times when our children were growing up, so we knew the area and the location of the house - just perfect, between the beaches, downtown, the Nubble and Dunne's ice cream. The house was amazing, it had everything we needed, beautiful ocean views, comfortable seating, beds were very comfortable as well. Updates everywhere, couldn't ask for anything more - we loved out stay and will definitely be back.

We had a beautiful week in Maine at this gorgeous, well-appointed property. Everything was spotless. The ocean view from almost every window was amazing. What a great location! Thank you for your hospitality! We will be back!

Labor Day Weekend Getaway!

We had an incredible stay in this home! The property is absolutely beautiful with stunning views and tons of room for large groups! The owners are kind and helpful! The house is within a mile of the beach and the adorable downtown area of York! Could not have been a better experience!

Wonderful Property

This home checked every box for me and my family. It had ample space for eight people, was exceptionally clean upon arrival, had beautiful views, and close proximity to the beach and other activities. The hosts were extremely responsive. Our family hopes to stay at this property again in the future, and I highly recommend it for a Maine vacation.

Beautiful home in great location

This was the second time we rented this house for a family vacation. A beautiful clean home with everything we needed. The towels and linens being provided was a big plus. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax . A short walk to Nubble Light and Long Sands Beach. The views of the ocean and sunsets were fabulous. Very attentive hosts. Wonderful memories made here with children and grandchildren. Would love to return again.

After Christmas family retreat

My children and grands decided to get together after Christmas to relax and enjoy a week together. We love the beach and York Maine is a favorite spot. We found what looked like a location and house that would work for us. When we arrived we loved the views. When we went inside we fell in LOVE with the house! It's gorgeous and absolutely perfect for my eat, drink, dance and be merry family! We highly recommend this house and hope to come back! Thanks a million to Rick and Sue for availing this memory maker of a house to us! Happy 2023!! Cheers

Good location in beach town

The house is spacious and has beautiful views of the ocean from both decks. The Nubble lighthouse is right up the road well within walking distance. There’s a cute center of town with shops and restaurants very close to the beach and play area for kids. Also nearby is a cute zoo and kiddie rides which we thoroughly enjoyed with our granddaughter. The house was very clean and roomy. There are a few things that could be improved like the mattresses in the queen bedrooms downstairs. The television could use a sound bar or speakers as the audio was poor. Also only one of the TV boxes worked. Overall we did enjoy ourselves and can’t say enough about the area which is really beautiful.

Beautiful week near Nubble

Beautiful, spacious property a short walk to Nubble! Lovely home with lots of room. Great communication from friendly hosts. Ocean views from decks. We had small children with us and having all the bedrooms but one in the downstairs/ entry level was a bit harder than we expected- but this may actually work well for other families! We missed having an outdoor shower for post beach, but the hose was helpful. It is a busy street with no sidewalks- something to be aware of with the littles f you hope to walk for ice cream etc. And a bit too long of a walk for us to the beach with all the kids’ things (15-20 min). Beautiful neighborhood! We loved our week and recommend this property :)

Beautiful House/Beautiful Setting

This is a lovely home in a very pretty setting, with nice views over the ocean and down to York Beach. The house worked very well for our three-generation group that was in the area for a wedding.

Amazing property, amazing views, amazing location and amazing hosts!

Our July rental was incredible; Probably our best vacation ever. The property was absolutely spotless. Very well equipped for practically every situation. We didn’t watch any TV but there are plenty of channels if you’re trapped indoors and can’t find anything else to do. We did a group assembly of the 1000 pc Nubble Lighthouse puzzle and finished the night before our departure - the perfect puzzle for that property. Long and Short Sands beaches are both within walking distance - about 15-20 minutes away - great way to get some exercise. Our kids discovered the daily ‘Dog Party’ at Long Sands where between 6AM and 8AM dogs are allowed on the beach without leashes. Bring dog people we made it a point to go EVERY morning. Visiting The Funorama arcade is a must if you like old fashioned arcades, pinball machines, skeeball and the like. For the adults, grabbing a cold pint at the York Beach Brewery is a treat but they close at 9:00 PM so go early. We had so much fun and did do many things that there’s simply not enough time to write it all down. Rick and Susan are fantastic hosts and their property is amazing - a great place to which to return after a day of fun out and about Southern Maine. Catching a sunrise over the Nubble is a must but in July sunrise is at 5:00 AM so only early birds need apply! Booking this property is an absolute no brainer so what are you waiting for? Do it!

Beautiful house and gorgeous views!

We were so impressed with this property from the minute we arrived. The house is actually more beautiful than the pictures make it look. The view is spectacular and we saw so many unbelievable sunsets. All of the bedrooms were spacious, the bathrooms were updated and a good size, and the kitchen was amazing. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the house so much that we stayed home to cook a lot more than we originally planned. The location is great with a short walk to both beaches, the lighthouse, and the ice cream stand. We had six adults and we all fit comfortably in the house without feeling on top of each other.

Belle maison familiale

Maison confortable, bien équipée, avec très belle vue. Distance de marche de la plage 10/15 minutes. Le stationnement est limité le week-end à la plage . La plage est magnifique.

Everything we were hoping for!

There were more updates than were shown in the photos, which made the place even better! Check-in was easy and Rick and Sue were very courteous. Our family of five was able to sprawl out and have privacy to read, play board and computer games, cook, and eat together. We utilized the decks with gorgeous views of the ocean and Long Sands, and we gathered nightly on the top deck watching the sunset and enjoying our favorite drinks. The Nubble Lighthouse is a short walk, and Dunne's Ice Cream was too close for us to resist a couple of visits. We loved our stay!
