Not great!
Positives - the property is about a 10 minute walk to the walls of the city. Secure parking is great.
Negatives - check in - advised that a representative would meet us at 3pm. Had to telephone him as he wasn’t at the property when we arrived - received text with the access code to the gate. This could have been sent in advance of our arrival.
Departure - told to leave the key in post box no 3 - no post box no 3. Surely this has happened before! Again had to telephone the representative & was told where to leave the key via text (call wasn’t answered).
Traffic noise - the property is on a very busy main road. In the lounge you can barely hear the traffic - not quite the same in the bedroom - very loud. We think it’s an issue with the window seal. I did report it to be told they would look at it after we left. No lie in for us!
Kitchen - trays for the oven left dirty from other guests. Oven not exactly clean either.
Overall we would not rent this property again - such a shame as with a bit more attention to detail & improved check in//our procedures it could be lovely.
