We loved our stay here! Clean and had a great sleep. Brilliant price for somewhere to stay close to York. Carpark was a little full and some bad parking meant it was a space down, but not the owners fault. Highly recommend for an affordable cute little getaway! Would definitely return

Excellent site with great parking, accepts dogs into the pod and the costs of a one night stay we found very reasonable. Not many pod owners have just one night stays and that's why we stayed there. Give it a bash.

We loved our 1 night stay here. The pods are almost new, super comfortable and pretty. The shared toilet facilities were super clean, there were enough to be shared so no need to wait. Location is great, very close to York City Centre and we were lucky to have nice neighbours in the pods around. Highly recommend it

Our stay at little hide

We had a very nice stay, clean, comfortable, shower hit and clean. Bed very comfortable, quiet surroundings. Staff communicated through phone when we had to postpone and change first day of stay, Donna was very accommodating changing our arrival day also resending our code details, very efficient and replying by return. Would definitely recommend little hide.

The Little Hide

Stayed in a posh pod which was lovely. Toilet and shower block were a short walk around the corner which was very convenient. Tea, coffee and kettle in the pod which was a nice touch. Had breakfast at the cafe on site which was reasonably priced. The only downside was the parking, as struggled to find the overflow carpark on site. Overall a lovely place to stay 😎

Having to bring own coffee etc.was not ideal. Also own towels for shower in facilities in main campsite. Understand cost savings why done but this is somewhat disappointing. POD great though, clean. Nice comfortable bed. Site overall very clean & well maintained .

The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed. The toilets and shower blocks were very well kept and clean. Perfect for what we needed as we only stayed one night but would be put off by the lack of privacy /pods facing each other etc if was to consider returning, which is a shame.

Great place even better in summer

Always great when we stay at the little hide. We have been a few times just me and my fellas little getaway. Its our peace place with out the kiddies. Lovely and quite this time of year. Was on the cold side with the weather but the heater in the pod was amazeing at keeping you toastie. The only down fall for me was the magpie that seemd to haunt me whilst there hahaha. Really funny. The cafe food is excellent good price. Absolutely love this place.

We absolutely love this place been a few times now and every time is spot on perfect (wish we had some sugar and tea bags and milk for the room but will remember next time) brilliant as a dog friendly place, our pup loved it! All facilities and room were perfect for what we needed for the night thank you so much for our day and night I’m sure we will be back soon.

There was a small heater but this didn’t really heat up the place. We ended up having to leave after a few hours and book a hotel room elsewhere for the night. There was also a few hairs in the bed. The bed was very creaky and you could hear everything outside.

Literally 5 mins away from the retail park (shops and food) but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere! Really clear and easy to follow instructions to self-check in meant I could arrive at 22:00 and not feel worried! Definitely will be staying again!

Truly awful The accommodation looked derelict There was no way l could have slept the, the outside was covered in disgusting mould and while the inside was sort of ok I didn’t stay and booked into another hotel in York Would definitely not recommend

The hut was lovely but they are all too close together and surrounded by a 6 foot fence. So the view was into my neighbours hut or the fence . We were set around farm land and beautiful green fields but couldn’t see one from my pouch. Toilets were ok but had to walk into the caravan section to use .
