cheap but shabby

No shampoo or soap in the bathroom. The only towel bar in the bathroom broken. Coffee maker broken. Loud bikers were allowed to play loud music until 2 A.M. followed by loud talking early in the morning.

Convenient location and price. Quiet. Operators were nice enough but..... Very run down facility. Rooms, linens, bedding were worn, old, stained. TV not work.

Worst hotel ever

Heater didnt work. Key card didnt work had to have management let me in. The was garbage under the blankets and old broken ciggerates behind the bed

Try to avoid it

The bads are old and worn out with springs popping out. The shower was dirty and the toilet kept running. There were holes in bathroom door and security door lock was broken

Couldn't find my reservation for a full day although it was there all the time and I later saw it. Other guests at the motel were on their porches outside until after 2AM being extremely loud. I will not stay there again.

Had three rooms; 1 had a hole in the wall, 2 had mold on multiple walls and inside refrigerator.

Expedia should have people checking out the hotels

This place was awful!!! Got there at 5am was left at 11am. Place was run down, dirty and A/C didn’t work. Refuse to refund my money for 2nd day. Was there 6 hrs and charged $180. Place sucks. And so does Expedia. This is the third time I have booked a hotel through them and the quality was disgusting and nothing like the pictures they post and didn’t offer all the things that were posted. Do your job and make sure that what you post about hotels is true. Never using Expedia again!!!!!

They had the gaul to try to charge me more than posted on hotels.com. Yes, they asked for more money cause it is summer. Also, the pool was closed. Only one other car in the parking lot. I walked out.

Although beautifully photographed in the picture of thie motel in the Expedia site, the pool is closed and looks like it’s been this way for a long time. This was a disappointment because it was one reason the motel was selected. It was hot and sunny while we were there. The advertisement should be updated to state the pool is not available.

The worst hotel I ever stayed in..

The hotel was a disappointment. Everything was out of date.The place had the audacity to have a old model box T. V. For entertainment. Nets was flying around the drain in the tub, we had to go out and buy our own cleaning supplies to clean and make ourselves comfortable. A gap was exposed underneath once we closed the front door so we had to place one of the blankets in front of the door hoping to keep anything from crawling inside while we slept.The sheets still had stains and holes in them,i asked for new ones and the ones she gave me had cigarette burn holes in them. To top it off ,we found a pair of underwear behind the bed along with other used stuff.. I wouldn't recommend this place to not even my dog.. There was a sign at the front desk stating non-refundable that's why I didn't go to the front desk and raise hell.. I wish I'd took pictures..

2 day trip for sightseeing

Construction in room next door during the day, terrible banging and hitting on walls. Children next door at night running and banging against the walls until 9 or 10 PM. Also large group of people outside of rooms until, after dark making lots of noise so not a good place to rest or sleep at.

Disappointed

Arrived before scheduled check in time and the lady at the front desk was nice enough to let me check in early. Opened the door to my room and the musky smell almost made me sick. I couldn't lock the front door because the mounting plate on the door frame was misaligned. The television wouldn't even turn on. I was extremely disappointed. I spent less than five minutes in the room before I returned to the front desk to inform the lady that I could not stay in the motel for two nights. She offered to show me another room but I only wanted to leave the property. She told me that I would have to pay for the first night and I questioned her decision but didn't want to argue. I contacted Expedia and their representative was excellent as well as my credit card company to dispute the charge. I was in town for a funeral and this was not a good start to my trip to Newport News/Yorktown VA.

Scared to Sleep under the covers

I should have know when I was told I had to pay before I got there that the Motel was not going to be good. Furniture was frayed and looked older than my daughter (16 yrs), sheets were dirty and neither of us felt comfortable sleeping under the sheets. There were cigarette burns on the tub, as well as the old three facets to turn on the water as well as the shower. Water continued to run even when middle facet was turned on. TV was outdated (big back tv) and the cable was not represented with HBO even though the Motel had it as a channel. To be Charged over $100 was highway robbery! A person who checked in before me, went to the room and we both came back to the front office, he for a refund, and me for clean sheets because of the no refund through Expedia.

Dirty surprise

First things first, it was a hot day and once I entered the room, it was a hot box with a weird smell. The AC wasn't on and took forever to get cool. My girl went to use the bathroom and found "#2" in the toilet. The bathroom looked like it's never been cleaned. I paid 110 dollars for this room which I shouldn't have paid more then 40. Wasn't really happy with my stay.

Marginal At Best

Kind of Pricey for the bare essentials. Better than a Pup Tent. Small threadbare towels. Hard beds. Never turned on the TV. Glad it was only one night. Didn't bother using shower. Though advertised, there was no "free Breakfast". Overall, this definitely falls into the "Bummer" Category.

Staff was ver nice and friendly

Went to the lobby to see if they had a computer which they did not but the owner brough his personal computer out for me to use. That in my book is great customer service.

If I did not need a room for that night

Worst hotel room I ever stayed in. Got there toward evening without any alternatives. Room smelled molder. Alternative room smelled worst. Beds were like a rock and my wives back was sore for a week after the one day stay.
