Adventurous Getaway

As usual Yosemite was awesome, but we also really enjoyed the nearby sites. Swinging Bridge and swimming hole and Chilnualna Falls were a nice surprise. Comfy beds, nicely stocked kitchen.

Great Yosemite retreat

We really enjoyed Peace of Mine retreat in the Wawona area. The house is very well equipped and the instructions were perfect. Would highly recommend as a great house for a family or small group of friends

Everything we wanted

We had 4 adults and three kids 2-4 years old. The cabin location was great and very peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed (and didn't know we needed). Great space inside and out for the kids to play. The power went out in the area one night but we had no break in power because there was a generator that ran everything (heat, lights, fridge, etc ). Great to be inside the park yet away from crowds. Great communication and service. We'll definitely be back!

Cozy Cabin Stay

We came up during the mid-Spring after a snow storm and found this cabin to be well stocked and very cozy for our family of 5. There are tons of instructions and labels everywhere, which makes things easy to find. They have all the essentials, even laundry detergent, which ended up being necessary due to unexpected events. The property manager was very communicative and checked in a couple of times on day one to make sure we had everything needed. The property is very quiet and peaceful. We loved that it was in a neighborhood that was also in the woods - it felt secluded and private but also there were others nearby if needed. The fireplace is very warm and is now gas-lit, so that was an unexpected plus. The beds are pretty firm but generally comfortable. It’s about a 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley (without traffic). We would definitely stay again.

Wawona and Yosemite

House accommodated 8 of us well. The grounds around the house are spacious and the neighborhood was quiet. 30 minute drive to Yosemite sites. Fun to explore Wawona and the Mariposa redwood grove nearby.Of note, the reservation is good for the park reservation, however you will still need to pay the park entrance fee.

Cute Cabin in the Woods

We recently stayed here for a post-Christmas family trip. The cabin is very quaint and comfortable, plenty of room for the (6) of us. The back deck has a nice view of the forest...felt very private. Great location to Mariposa Grove and Yosemite Valley (about 50 min away). No issues at all...but had thought there was a wood burning fireplace, which was kind of disappointing (probably our fault for not checking first!) Overall, a really nice stay.

Cozy Place in the Woods

We like to stay in secluded spots with our friends and family, cook, drink wine and just hang out. This is a perfect spot with gorgeous views of lovely pine trees in every direction. The kitchen is well stocked with every kind of cooking tool necessary to make meals for every occasion. We enjoyed a gorgeous 3-4 mile walk around the meadow in front of the Wawona. Perfect and convenient location, steps away from the Wawona country store, and only 35 - 40 minutes from Yosemite Valley.

Charming cottage in the quiet forest.

Cottage enchanting. Lots of spAce for 4. Has maintained its cottage circa 1960s charm. Everything worked. No AC which was an initial concern but temperatures dropped at night so very comfortable for sleeping. A fair distance from yosemite vi village

Lovely place

The house is clean and spacious, plenty of room for food in the fridge, everything you need to cook, nice big flat-screen TV. And the area is lovely. It is private but not isolated.

Pleasant experience

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

It was a little difficult to find but the photos helped a lot! So much space inside and wonderful yard as well. We loved the hammock under the tall trees and grilling on the deck. We had to buy a couple of fans because it was so hot and left them there.

Loved our stay at this Cozy Cabin

The cabin was exactly how it was shown on the website. Very clean and the yard is gorgeous with all those beautiful pine trees! Loved sitting on the deck reading a book and talking. Grill worked perfectly! Kitchen had everything we needed except a griddle - we had to bring our own. We have 2 boys who play the piano beautifully and we loved hearing them sit and play because they no longer live at home and we miss that! The location was great and we loved the restaurants they recommended! Very quiet and peaceful area. Deer came on the ground every morning. The only improvements I would say would be great for guests are changing the bed in the room by the laundry room to a queen bed at least. It was only a double and was such a tight squeeze when you're used to a queen or larger. The other improvement would be to have more privacy in the bathroom attached in that same bedroom. The door that connects to the bathroom doesn't fully fit the door frame and the door is so thin that you can hear everythng going on in the bathroom. Loved our time there!

Even better than we hoped for!

This house / VRBO experience is what should be the high standard others should look at. The place was beautiful - large well-equipped rooms, great furniture and every amenity you'd need. And in the kitchen, the drawers and cabinets had labels telling you what is in each - very helpful. A beautiful, large deck outside, gas grill which was super clean and we used twice and easy parking. Now we're spoiled! This is the one to compare all others. We probably won't be back in Yosemite again (we've been there 3 x now), but if we should ever return - this is the place to be. We give it the highest rating possible!
