Esta cabaña tiene 3 dormitorios con una cama queen en cada uno y 2 baños. Servicio de lavandería también disponible en esta casa y aire acondicionado. Hay un sofá cama en el desván. Le encantará la calidez acogedora del techo de cedro nudoso de vigas abiertas y las soleadas ventanas de madera orientadas al sur. Relájese en sofás de cuero sobrepuestos frente a la chimenea de propano de la roca del río o disfrute de uno de los TV / DVD de 46 pulgadas, VCR en la sala de estar, con una extensa colección de películas VHS. Relájese con ese libro en la enorme terraza sur soleada con parrilla de gas. Le encantarán los detalles de acabado y las comodidades de Strawberry Creek. Hay 3 lugares de estacionamiento durante los meses de verano y 2 durante los meses de invierno.

We stayed here for three nights, 6 adults and 2 kids.Location- located in Yosemite West which is inside the park and about 20 minute drive to Yosemite Village. So, excellent location.Rates- we felt that the rates were fair. Of course, the VRBO fees drive up the cost a bit.Beds - 3 bedrooms with queen beds were good. The two boys, 9 and 11, slept in the sleeper sofa. If was ok, not great.Bathrooms - four adults had to share one bathroom which was a bit of a challenge.Supplies - this cabin was very well supplied. It had plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. one of the best equipped cabins I have stayed in. The gas grill was excellent.Great room area- it had a good amount of seating. The tv was good. There were a lot of old vhs movies. We really only had one complaint. Two bedrooms were downstairs (basically a 3 level house). These bedrooms were about 10 degrees cooler than the main level or upstairs bedroom. I called the management people and they said, that’s the way it is. So, bundle up when staying downstairs in the summer.

Excellent Yosemite Retreat

I stayed here with my family for several days in the summer. The house was very comfortable, including the beds. The AC worked wonderfully, as did the internet and cable. The vhs library didn’t have any kids movies, so if I was going to go back, I would bring a few with. We saw a mama bear and cub from the front porch. It’s location is perfect.

Yosemite vacation

This property was better then we even expected! Very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The extensive movie collection was a bonus, the kids really enjoyed watching a few oldies on VHS! A great space in a great location to relax after long days adventuring!

Good but could be better

It was a really nice and cozy place, however, the fees are a bit excessive. The cleaning fee was high and having to wash the dishes amongst other things took time away that could be spent relaxing or exploring. The mattresses were hard, the temperature was hot (couldn’t turn down AC), and the TV didn’t work. Again, it was a good experience, but could have been a LOT better.

Nice

Nice property, a/c was nice after a long day in sun. Vcr didn't work for us and there is a huge vcr collection and one of TVs is old and screen needs to be restarted sometimes. Loved all the provided tea and coffee grounds.

Cozy, homey, great character for our Yosemite stay

Perfect place for our Yosemite stay (family of 6). Development is the closest private development to the valley and village (yet note still 30 min away). Super clean and well take care of. We enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend to all.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful cabin close to Yosemite. Great jumping off point to Yosemite valley, Mariposa Grove and Glacier point. So glad we chose this location. House was amazing - very well decorated - lots of windows and natural light - would book again! We did have a problem with TV - multiple remotes, different systems - called property management and they came over and resolved the issue.

Great Stay with just a few minor issues

The house is clean and well stocked. Some of the previous reviews that had issues with the beds and sleeper sofa are all fixed now. New king bed and new sleeper sofa! We were snowed in the first day and the electricity was out. We were lucky to have a gas fireplace and gas stove. The door lock on the gas oven was locked with an error upon arrival. We called management twice and both times a young man came who knew nothing about fixing anything and said they would have it fixed the next day. We never saw another persona and it was never fixed. We purchased food that required an oven so that was annoying but we didn't let it ruin our stay. We enjoyed the puzzles (need to get ones without missing pieces Haha). The electricity went out several times and was out all night and early morning of our departure which was truly a hassle. Not sure if that was just a weird scenrio because of the late winter storm or what. Again, we did not let that bother our stay. We used the gas grill and enjoyed the deer at the back door the morning of our departure. We had 7 people in the house and everyone enjoyed the stay. Its a great location, but if its snowing be sure and have tire chains because roads going in and out will be closed and you will not go any where. I would stay here again. It's a great house in a great place!!!

Charming Cabin just minutes from Tunnel View

I've stayed in the Yosemite West neighborhood several times but this was my first time staying at Strawberry Creek. Although not as large as some of the properties I've stayed at, it was the perfect size for my family of four, allowing everyone their own bedroom, with really comfortable, inviting common spaces in the kitchen and living room. The cabin was decorated very nicely and was in excellent condition, extremely clean. Parking was very easy to get in and out of, even with several inches of snow. And of course, the location can't be beat -- you're only 8 miles from the dramatic Tunnel View, and another ~5 miles to the valley floor and all of the key sites. Will definitely stay here again.

This place is amazing. The photos are accurate. The kitchen is fully stocked with good quality utensils, dishes, cups, etc. The living room is very comfortable. There is a VHS/DVD player with lots of classic movies available on the neighboring shelves. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and well kept. The balcony and grill provided a nice view of the surroundings. From the backyard you can watch the sunset over the mountains. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable, beautiful house close to Yosemite attractions

In terms of a place to stay close to the Yosemite high country along, this house fit the bill quite well. It is not a bargain, but it was the right place in a market that is not cheap. It is beautiful and well maintained and the sleeping arrangements were quite comfortable. There were a few annoying issues: no information in the house about the operation of the television/video system and fairly limited kitchen items with no containers for leftovers at all. There was also the suggestion that perhaps there was internet access but, once again, no information in the house about this. Some of this may have been on-line, and I do remember a caution to digest the directions/other info? in advance of travel because there might not be cell service in the area of the house.

Fabulous house!

The house was immaculate, spacious and well stocked. We were a party of 6 and were all comfortable with the exception of the person sleeping on the sofa bed. We decided to put the mattress on the floor which was more comfortable. The deck didn't have the best view, but we still enjoyed sitting out every evening. It was very hot during our stay, so the air-conditioning was very welcomed. We had a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend the house.

Home is great. Best location to visit Yosemite, only 10 min drive to the valley. Home has everything you need. Kitchen is fully equipped! And I mean fully, everything we needed was there. Home was spotless, house keepers did a great job. Defenetly a great home to visit Yosemite

Cabin experience overshadowed by bad bed

KIng size bed has two large depressions each the width of a person running the length of either side of the bed with a ridge in between. We hiked the ridges and valleys of Yosemite by day and anticipated rejuvenating our bodies by sleeping well at night. This was not to be so as the bed mimicked our hikes. You could choose to sleep in one of the valleys of the bed. If you wanted to spread out you had to straddle both the ridge and the valley. If you tried to cuddle your partner you had to lie on your side on the center ridge and hold perfectly still so you didn't fall back into the depression or valley.. I understand that one might use an old bed at a family cabin, but a bed of poor quality should never be in a rental home. The two queen size beds are of good quality and guests reported sleeping well in them. Side bar: internet service is unreliable we probably had good coverage for a total of 20 minutes cumulative over the course of five days. Don't plan to work in this cabin if your work is internet dependent. The positive aspects of the cabin become irrelevant to report on when the basic function of providing a good nights rest cannot be fulfilled . I stay at Home away or VRbo locations frequently and poor beds are not unheard of but they are not the norm.. The bed and internet are the only issues that make me give this rental 3 stars.

This home fit our group of 6 perfectly. We enjoyed the cozy furniture and the beautiful front deck. The proximity to Yosemite, especially to Glacier Point, was the icing on the cake!

Fantastic and Comfortable Stay

We had some guests visiting from Finland and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Strawberry Creek during our quick stay in Yosemite. The accommodations were very comfortable and the cabin exceeded expectations for comfort and cleanliness. We did find a small scorpion in one of the beds that provided some excitement in the evening, but be aware that you are in natural area and creatures do find a way in! The location makes it very easy to travel to Glacier Point and into the valley but be aware that there are no convenient grocery stores nearby so plan ahead if you are planning meals at the cabin. The kitchen and outdoor grill are fully stocked had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this unit and we will definitely return in the future.
