Property is much larger than the pictures reveal. Very modern, quiet, and overall just a stunning layout. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful quiet getaway. 10/10

1 star, 2 stars at best

We checked into this VRBO and were happy with our selection the first day. On the second and third day, we went to use the hot tub, but couldn't. This was the number one reason we booked this VRBO. Unfortunately, we noticed immediately that there were wasps/bees flying all around the hot tub. I am highly allergic; therefore, my husband assessed the problem further. He noticed that the wasps/bees were flying in and out of the hot tub cover. You can clearly see the disrepair of the hot tub cover. We have photos and video evidence. We immediately called and emailed the host because of this safety concern. If I were to be stung, I would need to be taken to the closest hospital for medical attention. We were told by the host that they would see what they could do. We also called VRBO to express our concern and request a refund the same day. We told VRBO that we would leave the property if need be, since we were requesting a partial/full refund. We were informed that they contacted the host. We never heard back from VRBO. Again, we did not get to use the amenities on this property because of the inability for the host and VRBO to properly address and resolve this safety issue. Management knew this prior to our stay, and did not disclose this information. There were yellow jacket traps set up. The host told us this was not something they could predict or control. Quite a statement to make considering they had traps. This is negligence and unacceptable. Please do what is right.

Tucked away under the Stars

Getting to the property was a little challenging as there were road signs that were missing but we found Apple Maps or google maps to work ok.Gorgeous property very secluded with huge windows and open concept main living area. Nice private bedrooms with on-suite bathrooms. ( nice fluffy towels!)Nice back yard for grilling and eating under the pergola.The hot tub was lovely but had some bees that were in the cover. beautiful place to relax under the stars.There is a game room which was fun to play shuffle board and full laundry facilities.I would definitely try to book this spot again. It was a lovely place to stay and I imagine in the warmer weather nice and cool.

Delightfully Unique

The house is well represented in the pictures. It was a weekend get away for my granddaughter and me. The roads were not all that bad, but you have to go slow and they are dirt. It did not rain during our stay so the roads were just dusty.We loved the setting, the house and the hot tub. We had total privacy. We ate out most of our meals but the kitchen was fully equipped. The WiFi worked well but at times it was a little slow. Without question we would stay there again.

Great stay

The house and setting were beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor/hot tub space. It felt tranquil and private. Our backs may take a while to recover from the crappy mattress. The game room was also really fun. Our biggest gripe with this property is its use of cruel glue traps. Please look into humane methods of dealing with pests and stop using torture devices. .

Vert private modern home

Remotely located at the end of a dirt road. Beautiful home. Ideal for private retreat. Some evidence of live rodents in the house and visible snap traps abiund, but that did not bother us. Kind of expected out in the desert.

Thoughtful design; great amenities

Surprisingly close to town, yet this place feels wild, secluded and beautiful. It is evident that the builders/managers of this place valued thoughtful design and quality materials. There are so many options for relaxing and enjoying this desert landscape. Absolutely a first-class experience!

A hidden gem

What a perfect spot. Just far enough off the beaten path to be totally private, but still close to town. Simple clean modern place with a great hot tub. Pleasant and accommodating hosts. 5 stars.

Great secluded getaway!

Me and my husband were looking for a place we could take a few days away from it all and this place was perfect. Located in a quiet and secluded area it was perfect place to relax. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the game room. The home has everything you need....no reason to leave!

Beautiful home hidden away in the rocks!

This property was one of my favorite places to stay in Yucca Valley! Hidden away in the rocks, the house feels very modern and comforting. The out door hot tub and sandy loung area by the grill was our favorite place to hang out. Will definitely be coming back to stay next year!

Tranquility!

We stayed one night while passing through the area, and we would definitely stay again. We loved the tranquility! We enjoyed the hot tub for star gazing at night, and the game room was fun. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The roads to the house are best traveled in a small SUV or larger vehicle.

Roads

Roads leading up to house are very uneven dirt roads with large holes that damage my rental cars. Lucky I was able to get under the vehicle and put the damage piece back in place. Had I known I would have rented an suv. Other then the roads the house was lovely.

Fantastic property!

We spent two nights at this desert property. The house was just as advertised, clean and well appointed. We loved the hot tub (perfect place to watch the stars) the property was very quiet and secluded. We would definitely stay here Again!

Beautiful location

The location is beautiful and very quiet, with no immediate view of neighboring homes. The home design takes advantage of the dramatic boulder surroundings with large windows and indoor outdoor connections. Everything at the house was pristine and we enjoyed the game room and hot tub numerous times over the weekend. Would totally recommend for a relaxing get away.

Perfect desert lodging

Possibly my most favorite stay anywhere. House is open and light filled…spent days and evenings sitting at the back patio table just taking it all in. Our young kids enjoyed exploring the property and hanging out in the garage with their own tv and a variety of games. Seems much more remote than the short trip into town. Though there are a few neighbors you will barely notice as the layout of the house offers solid privacy. Mgmt company was very tolerant w/ my agitated call when I had difficulty locking the side door. It’s tricky at first but no problem to get the hang of it after a few minutes. Hot tub was wonderful. Would love to go back!

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful property, private and quiet, nestled in the rocky hills near Yucca Valley. We enjoyed the large windows and natural light. The outdoor kitchen is great. It was fun to sit in the hot tube at night and stargaze. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Paradise in the rocks

This place was really awesome. The setting is secluded and quiet, and so lovely we didn't feel like we had to rush off to JTNP. The house was spotless and beautiful. Our kids loved exploring the landscape around the property. Relaxing in the hot tub under the stars after a full day of hiking was delightful. The only small negatives were that the beds were too soft and would benefit from a thinner foam mattress topper, and the water pressure/hot water in the front bedroom were suboptimal. We made some great memories here and would love to go back!
