An entire stylish house for you alone, in a great location in the Schüttdorf district – suburb of Zell am See: Within a few minutes you can reach a recommended bakery with café, the beautiful turquoise Zeller See, the Areitbahn (ski area and hiking area Schmittenhöhe) and our unique golf courses (with 36 holes). And as the icing on the cake, you can look forward to the impressive views of Gletscher Kitzsteinhorn, the Hohen Tauern and the Pinzgauer Grasberge.



In the very spacious (6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms!) and luxuriously furnished chalet, up to 14 people will find plenty of space. This is ensured by the optimal layout of the house, the expansive living room with open state-of-the-art kitchen and the heart of the house, the large dining table as well as the water vapour fireplace. The large dining table with corner bench at the stove offers all guests plenty of space. Additionally, you can enjoy the magnificent terrace in the private garden.

In front of the house is our free private car park, where one of the three parking spaces is covered. The lodge also includes an attractive garden and a swing. Here children have plenty of space to play and run around

The lodge from Steinbock Lodges with its great facilities and high-quality furniture will delight you! All furniture in Chalet Hohe Tauern is bespoke and was lovingly handcrafted by a local carpenter. In the large living room there is a water vapour fireplace that creates a cosy atmosphere. A local baker offers an excellent breakfast service (for a fee).



Leisure activities:

The chalet is ideal for everyone from sports enthusiasts, hikers, or those who enjoy the finer things in life. In just a few minutes you can take the AreitXpress up the mountain towards Schmittenhöhe, a ski and hiking area with unique views and beautiful kilometres of slopes for beginners and seasoned professionals. Children can look forward to meeting the little dragon Schmidolin in the children's paradise on Schmittenhöhe. The Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area is also easy to reach, where you can enjoy skiing almost all year round. Particularly recommended is the Top of Salzburg viewing platform (3029m) with a photo point, accessible by cable car all year round.

Fancy a spa? Those who enjoy the finer things will be delighted with the Therme Tauern Spa in Kaprun, just 5 kilometres from Steinbock Chalet Hohe Tauern.



In summer, hiking trails, cross-country skiing routes, lakes, cycle paths and golf courses invite you to explore the beautiful area around Zell am See Kaprun in style. For shopping, head to the nearby shopping centre or to the town centre of Zell am See, which is also easily accessible on foot via a pleasant path along Lake Zell.



Don't forget the Grossglockner (Austria's highest mountain with a wonderful high alpine panoramic road in summer, where you might be lucky enough to spot the cute marmots), the Krimml Waterfalls and the magnificent Mozart city of Salzburg with all its attractions.
