he photos of the property were at least 7 years old, so although clean, it was more dated than we expected.The location of the care takers property was overlooking the outdoor relaxing areas, which we didn’t consequently use (plus they did not cut the grass until the day we left)We booked the whole property, but they only made 4 bedrooms available (we had invited 2 other friends along and we had toSqueeze 8 adults into 4 bedrooms (2 couples) and 4 single men.In addition to this, the caretakers tried to charge us for the extra occupancy (if we used the other bedrooms)The caretakers had guests staying who very very audible and visible (playing games in the garden - not a problem unless you are expecting privacy)The caretakers would enter our property from time to time to help themselves to ice from the ice box.Our shower dripped loudly and the bidet was blocked.

What a beautiful place to stay. Literally an Italian villa in the countryside. We had 12 people stay here for 8 nights. Plenty of privacy, bedrooms, bathrooms. Would absolutely stay here again. The caretakers Gabriella and her husband were perfect hosts and very helpful! He even carried our luggage in and out for us!

Beautiful spot in the Bologna hillside

Great place to stay with family and friends. Plenty of room, lovely outdoor space for dinners. Hot tub To relax in. Host is very accommodating any time we needed something there was a contact near the property. We hated to leave!

Family vacation

The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna.

Oasis above Bologna

Spent 4 days at this beautiful house up in the hills with 4 children and 6 adults. There was plenty of room for us and more! The accommodations were luxurious and clean and the host was generous with time and tips. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful villa with plenty of space

My extended family stayed while attending a conference. There were four full bathrooms to share among 12 of us and two additional half bathrooms inside plus a bathroom in the patio area. When every couple entered the villa I heard lots of excitement and appreciation for finding such a great place, and that only increased over the week. We had a lovely stay and would easily go back! Since we were there in the cold season we weren't able to take full advantage of the outdoor area but loved that the table inside was large enough to fit all 12 of us.

This home is amazing!

We recently stayed at Villa Monte Quercione for a family vacation. I just cant say enough good things about this home. We were a family of 8 and the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect and comfortable. There is an abundance of outdoor space and we utilized daily as we have additional family in the area. Dinners outside were great and could accommodate 10+ people. If you love to cook, there is a professional kitchen inside as well as a fireplace / pizza oven pit in the outdoor space as well. The home is very well laid out and features a game room downstairs and a very nice sound system that allows for music inside and out. If you collect or appreciate art, then you will love this home even more! Our stay here couldn't have been better and thank the on site host for all of our questions that we had. When back in the area, we will definitely stay here again!

Amazing house!

This house is amazing and it was a great place to hang out with a family. We loved the spa and pool table, hours of entertainment! The only thing I would say is that, for the price we expected that small comforts would be provided such as shampoo and conditioner and a small welcome package with essentials.

Enchanted place for a group or family

Really great place, A little bother with some art that could offend younger children that can read, but easy to cover up (if necessary) We felt at home and the outdoor eating cooking area with a wood fired pizza over is fantastic. Discrete helpful on site manager Sirosima was more than helpful, but never intrusive.

Great location, lots of space, a couple of issues to consider...

Several things we liked about this rental home -- the location was great, just a few miles from Bologna in the hills outside the city. Just far enough away to feel that you're in the country, but with great access to Bologna and easy day trips to Modena, Parma, Ravenna, Ferrara, etc. The home also has ample size for a large group, with plenty of space, a great game room, and a nice yard. The hottub was also a nice addition. A couple of minor isssues, however. The caretaker was present (he lives on the property), but wasn't tremendously helpful. And there is another family that lives in a home that essentially fronts the same yard, and they didn't seem thrilled to have guests on the property.

Perfecto

Just enough county to escape the city and yet close to Bologna when needed. Great home base for traveling and exploring the region - Ferrara to Parma to Firenze. The kitchen and outdoor dining area are awesome. Interesting property inside and great space for everyone to spread out when needed. The views are wonderful. Make sure you have Davide come cook a meal for you at the villa - la bella vita!!! Only wish the WiFi was faster - a must have in today's world.
