Nightingale I: Vacation Home with a Beautiful Garden

On the edge of the park, tucked away among the greenery and offering optimal privacy, lies our delightful bungalow with a sunny southwest-facing garden. Here, you can enjoy peace, nature, and comfort all day long. You’ll have your own parking spot right next to the house.

The park offers a variety of facilities for all ages: a swimming pool, bike rentals, a bouncy castle, table tennis, a aerial cableway, a panna field, and a volleyball court. At the reception area, you’ll also find a convenient little shop for daily necessities, so you’ll have everything you need during your stay.

Ground Floor
Upon entering, you’ll find yourself in the bright, spacious living and dining room with French doors leading to the terrace. The bungalow is equipped with a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped open kitchen featuring both a Nespresso machine and a drip coffee maker.
The first floor also features:
* the bathroom with a shower stall and sink
* a separate toilet
* a bedroom with two comfortable box-spring beds

First floor
Upstairs, there are two more cozy bedrooms with box-spring beds, a landing with plenty of closet space, and a covered balcony, the perfect spot for a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.

The park is conveniently located for exploring everything Drenthe has to offer. Hop on a bike and discover picturesque nature areas, take a walk through the vast forests, or visit historic villages in the area. Thanks to its central location between Assen and Emmen, day trips to bustling towns are also easy to plan. Don’t forget to check out the Hunebedcentrum or the charming town of Orvelte, where you can even visit the smallest zoo in the Netherlands.

Special adventures for the kids
There’s plenty of fun for the youngest visitors, too! The park offers plenty of activities, such as a panna cage, a mini-golf course, an air trampoline, and two playgrounds. The “Heart of Drenthe” Nature Trail gives children the chance to learn more about nature through play, with activities like climbing, building huts, and tracking animals. Want to take the adventure further? Then go on a scavenger hunt with Teddy the squirrel and discover the park’s secrets. In addition, the kids can splash around in the indoor pool, which is open from April through September. During school breaks, the Fun & Entertainment team organizes all kinds of fun activities, so your kids can make plenty of new friends and have a great time!
