    Freestanding directly next to the water with a great view over the countryside
    (The cottage is on the same grounds as our house)
     The Freestanding cottage Has A own kitchen, 1 bathroom, living room, with amazing views.
    free WiFi and TV channel
     There is a spacious bathroom, a kitchenette, and a cozy living area .the bedroom is comfortable with a king-size bed double bed. The bathroom is ensuite. (We have a baby cot available for a child aged about 2 years). In the whole cottage Floor heating ...

    Coffee and tea are always available, similarly the usual herbal.
    The beds are made and bath sheets, towels and kitchen towels are included,
    2 bikes are included in the price! You can use oure May ook kanoes if They are not used.
    In this beautiful area you can spend hours bobbing on the water.
    The many cycling and hiking trails start from your cottage. with it's cute historic villages,
    Bicycle and walking routes are present. Also many other area information.
    with a private veranda lying right near the waterfront with open view over the countryside and next to the canal That leads straight into the nature and cute villages!
    The village is just 15 minutes from Amsterdam and 15 minutes from the famous fishing village of Volendam or Marken with his beatiful in style built houses.
    There are 2 golf courses nearby
    There is public transportation 6 minutes in waling distance from your cotage ....
    Or how about a visit to the cheese market in Edam or a trip the Zaanse Schans, with its old windmills, ... this breaks That All close near our village Broek in Waterland.
    Within 15 minutes you are in Amsterdam .Amsterdam Has A lot to offer, magnificent architecture, stores and boutiques. ook visits the many museums we recommend the Van Gogh Museum, the Maritime and the Anne Frank house.
    In the village are a Pancakehouse and 2 other good restaurants.

Tranquila casita en plena naturaleza con excelentes vistas. La zona Waterland tiene pueblos con mucho encanto y se pueden visitar yendo en bici por caminos muy agradables.Esta muy cerca Amsterdam y muy bien comunicada

Our hosts were very responsive, effective and helpful with pre-arrival communications, and also while we were staying in the cottage. The cottage and the location are ideal for a highly enjoyable and relaxing break. The village and its surrounds are a treasure - the scenery, the homes, the facilities (church, cafes, shops, restaurants) and, most of all, the people. The small village atmosphere made our visit -we felt like we were the only tourists. Just two MINOR quibbles. We expected to have a washing machine in the cottage. The property listing features a photo of a cottage on the water, surrounded by a beautiful garden. This was not the cottage we stayed in, so a rather misleading photo of the "exterior". The cottage we stayed in is appealing in its own right.

The property was a ten minute walk from the bus stop, overlooking the canal and farm field...a beautiful setting. The kitchen was equipped with enough to prepare some basic meals. Because we were out most of the day, we were able to prepare our breakfast and an easy evening meal if needed. Our host were gracious and very accomodating. We wondered what it would be like to stay north of Amsterdam....we loved it

Wir hatten hier einen ganz wunderbaren und entspannten Aufenthalt über vier Tage. Gleich zu Beginn hatten wir eine freundliche Begrüßung durch die Gastgeberin und eine ebensolche Atmosphäre strahlt das ganze Häuschen aus. Dazu gibt es einen großartigen Ausblick über die Marsch und dir Tiere rundum waren besser als jedes Fernsehen. Es war der rundum perfekte, entspannte Kontrast zum bunten und wuseligen Amsterdam. Dort kommt man einfach und schnell mit dem Bus hin und zurück.

The hosts were very communicative and friendly and provided a lot of information about the area. The property was very clean and peaceful with a wonderful location close to Amsterdam. The bus station was a short walk away, which made navigating very easy.

Sehr schönes, da direkt an einem Kanal gelegenes Quartier und sehr freundliche und zugewandte Gastgeber waren die Attribute unseres Aufenthaltes. Für Hobbyangler ist das Quartier bestens geeignet, da man direkt am Kanal fischen kann. Wir empfehlen es unbedingt weiter. Danke George und Lina.

Lovely, little place outside Amsterdam. Leia was a wonderful host, very helpful, even walked with us down to local market and helped us shop! Walked with us to show us where local restaurants and shops were.

Nice and friendly cottage

Strongly recommend for North Holland. Friendly owner, a great view from the sofas, safe parking lot and all what you need for a nice holiday. Easy with the bus to Amsterdam, nice natural surrounding, perfect bicycle tours and great small villages easy to reach. Thank you for the great visit.

Absolutely Wonderful

Fantastic hosts, a true hidden Gem. We felt so lucky to find this place, please don’t tell everybody. Getting to Amsterdam on transit is a cake walk, we took the bus no parking issues. We will be back to Amsterdam and this will be our number 1 choice
