Originally built in 1903, this charming abode has retained all of its historical charm while undergoing numerous renovations and design improvements over the years. With its high ceilings, pine wood floors, and rustic décor, The Grey Rabbit House exudes warmth and offers the perfect setting for a family getaway.

    Located in the heart of Ayer’s Cliff Village, just steps away from the main street, The Grey Rabbit House is within walking distance of local amenities, including a grocery store, farmer’s market (in the summer), butcher shop, SAQ, and charming cafes and restaurants. While you may occasionally hear passing trucks during the day, evenings are typically peaceful, allowing for a serene atmosphere.

    Experience the beauty of the region year-round with nearby attractions such as Massawippi Lake, Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, Foresta Lumina, and Mont Orford National Park. For a relaxing day, spend time by Ayer’s Cliff Lake or indulge in a spa day at Spa Nordic Station.

We booked a girl weekend here and it was great and as cozy as we wanted. Everything we needed was there. Guillaume and Juliette were very good and responsive hosts. We enjoyed our time here a lot! Thank you!

Lovely garden suite.

Picturesque garden suite. Very lovely spot, only regret is not staying longer. Plus we ran into the hosts on the way in, who were so sweet.

Woodloft à découvrir!!!!

C’est remarquablement bien centré ce qui nous permet d’explorer la région, Magog, Standstead, North Hartley, etc…. Idéal comme camp de base. Restaurant super bon, tout est à porter de main. Tout a été excellent.

Petit loft très propre et charmant sur la rue Principale, donc facile d'aller manger au resto à pied ou d'aller chercher de délicieux yogourts chez La Pinte. Tout était super et la communication avec l'hôte était parfaite. C'était aussi très tranquille lors de notre séjour. Je soulignerais seulement qu'un détail bon à savoir avant l'arrivée est que le lit est sur une plate-forme en hauteur accessible par une petite échelle. Ce n'est donc peut-être pas un endroit idéal pour les personnes avec des problèmes de mobilité, plus âgées ou qui doivent se lever la nuit pour aller à la toilette.

We had a wonderful time exploring the Eastern Townships from this loft apartment. Our dogs were also at home in the fenced in backyard.

A very quaint property in friendly Ayers Cliff. It’s a romantic, cozy loft with all the amenities. The electric heater provides warmth and charm. The owners were very responsive. It was my first time in the Eastern Townships and I was very impressed. Access to 3 great ski hills and small, scenic towns like Magog and Orford.

Host with the Most

Guillaume and Julette are warm and very ready to work with their guests. The apartment is inviting and has all we need. The neighborhood is lovely and the property itself is gorgeous! We have stayed here more than once already.

Lovely stay!

Had a lovely stay! Home was adorable, clean, and cozy. Host was very responsive and helpful! Slept great in the loft - you do need to use a ladder but it’s sturdy and we could sit up in the loft area comfortably. Would certainly recommend!

Bel hébergement et service impeccable

Bel hébergement, propre et beau design Réponses très rapides des propriétaires lorsque nous avions des questions. Nous avons mis cinq étoiles pour la localisation pour ceux qui souhaite être au cœur des activités touristiques. L'avantage est par contre d'être tranquille lorsqu'on revient à l'hébergement. Merci aux propriétaires et nous recommandons chaleureusement cet hébergement :-)

Cozy loft in Ayer's Cliff

Lovely, quiet, private and well appointed! Everything needed for a weekend escape from the city. The fire pit was the reason we chose it, but it provided both indoor and outdoor enjoyment! Plenty of books, TV with all the streaming, places to eat and enjoy a game of cards, cozy bed loft, well thought out kitchen equipment and tools... and attentive and helpful hosts. Perfect place to rest and recharge!

Great stay in Ayer's Cliff

Very adorable and clean place located right in town. On the main road, but set back so the traffic wasn't too loud. Conveniently located near the center of town, well-stocked store within walking distance. The place had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi, which turned out to be a widespread issue that the owners were very responsive and communicative about. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back!

Bed

It is a very good place to visit Ayers Cliff but my fault I didn’t pay attention at the pictures and didn’t notice the latter to access the bed been 66 and older was risky for us to climb up there and forgot to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night , for younger people it’s perfect loft but older think about it The owners are great and very helpful Enjoy

They charged me for something already damaged. Ils m'ont fait payer pour quelquechose déjà endommagé Ne vous laissé pas avoir par la cheminé, c'est juste esthétique, le poèle fonctionne au gaz. Pour le reste, la chambre est propre et confortable, le lieux est paisible, le staff répond vite.

L’arrivée s’est bien passée. Tout était bien expliqué. Les hôtes ont souvent communiqué avec nous pour être certains que tout allait bien. Très propre et bien situé. Le loft est bien garni avec tout le nécessaire. À recommander! Merci pour le popcorn! Ce fut apprécié!

Lovely place with impractical bed

It was a pleasure communicating with Guillaume. The space is as cute as the photos. It is very comfortable for 2 people. However the bed in the loft is an issue. There are no railings and it is impossible for the person on the far side of the ladder to get out without climbing over the other person.
