The manor is a beautiful historical building. It was amazing to see the every room as it must have looked in the early 1800's! Although breakfast is not provided at this time, there are three kitchens to choose from if you would like to use one while staying there. My stay was a great experience!

Everything was great! The host was very accommodating with our late arrival and last-minute booking. Very historical building and decor. Only complaint was the bed was not that comfortable, otherwise very nice place to stay.

The property is for sale. Expedia advertised the Lee room, where I stayed, as having a private bath. It was not private. It should not be mistaken for a B&B because it does not serve breakfast. There is a full kitchen if you bring your own food. The curtains in my room came off the rings when I pulled them closed. It's a little expensive for what you get, but if you're looking for the minimum in that area, I guess you could do worse.

We were fortunate to be the only ones staying so we didn't have any issues with the shared bathroom situation. It was pleasantly warm which was surprising because the house is so big. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast piece is definitely not really a thing anymore and it seems like the place is for sale but it's a lovely area and the grounds are gorgeous. We had a fantastic stay after apple picking.

Charming countryside stay w/ all amenities

Highly recommended. Super friendly host, knew we were all there on a work trip so left us breakfast so we would have it early in the morning when we left. Highly, highly recommended!

I made a reservation on Expedia. Then the owner said she all her rooms were booked. I do not think this place should ever have been listed by Expedia.

An Overall Enjoyable Experience

This is a historic home converted into a B & B. The owners have clearly placed an emphasis on "charm" and keeping it meticulously clean. Our room was a bedroom and shared bathroom, but there are other options available. Breakfast was simple "grab & go" items. For those challenged with stairs, I would recommend contacting the owners for the more accessible options.

Quaint and interesting.

The manor and grounds are peaceful. Didn’t see staff, but she was pleasant on the phone. The only problem was there was no breakfast items except cereal (didn’t see milk) and the bathroom was water logged by another guest. Floor was soaked, including rugs. Disgusting, otherwise very quaint.

The house itself was beautiful, however we had an issue with the size of the beds. The information on our room said sleeps 3 comfortably. The beds were extremely small - my husband ended up having to sleep on the hard wood floor as there was not enough room in the beds for two of us. We ended up having to get a hotel room for the 2nd nights stay and the owner did not offer a refund of any type after I called and explained our issue. Super disappointed!

Never again.

No one was there. All of the light fixtures no bulbs and switches were taped. The place were dark, you had to walk down stairs one miss no one for help. I turned around and left. I was not staying there. The lady called me and I told her about it. She apologize but she didn't say she would refund any of my money. I told her I can't recommend anyone to go there.. What's the place showed online was false. I got out of there I forgot I had my camera to take photos. The places is not for me.

I’m going to start off with saying The manor is beautiful. I found this gem kinda last minute and I’m glad I did. It is very clean, quiet and I felt mostly like I had it to myself. There were other guests who were staying but unless if I seen their vehicle or faintly heard them when I went to the Bathroom, I’d have never known. So as many others state, there is no breakfast, the owner you have to call upon arrival, they explain why and they are so nice. But I didn’t stay there for the breakfast, I stayed for the experience and I’m glad I did. It was very clean, there are 2kitchens to choose from and you have full reign of cooking and such, the back one has a dishwasher a well. The owner said any room with the doors open you can go in and check it out, now the not so great but still worth it part… the steps to the manor need work, there are a lot of stairs… different rooms you need to go up or down into this rooms by stairs. One of the bathrooms I had to step up then step down to get into the bathroom it was weird. But I loved this place and recommend for an adventure. I would and will go back. And last but not least this gem is up for sale!
