Nice location and overall good experience…except one employee made such a bad impression it really changed our feeling.
First the great, Darius at check out…wonderful…and the valet, Jacob…above and beyond.
A member of our group left an item in his room…he did not realize until 2 days later, we were back in Burlington for the day, flying out in the afternoon.
I called and, spoke with Annika -explained the situation and she said we would need to fill out an online form. I explained that we are only in town for a few hours…if I email will I hear anything within that time frame. She said she couldn't help. I filled the form out and 2 hours later we drove to the hotel.
It was Annika at the desk, we explained the situation. She said her colleague was returning and she would check.
The colleague came back and she left…going upstairs…we thought looking for our item. After 25 minutes we went to the desk and the other guy said…oh she’s at lunch…maybe returning in10-15 minutes. We sat there for over 30 minutes waiting…honestly the guy at the desk also, was not too interested in helping us.
We saw a few other employees walking around…and then the valet, Jacob walked by. We told him no one would assist us, could he help…he said, oh sure…in 10 minutes…while helping other guests, he walked behind the desk…went to the office, right behind the desk and found our item! Annika couldn’t be bothered. She never returned or spoke to us after we made the request. Seriously lacking
