First room smelt of smoke. Staff excellent moved us. Second room toilet was dirty. Towels are so small no soap in the shower. Middle of the night another room took a shower and it was so loud in our room. Bed was so uncomfortable and pillow not great. Photos are misleading on the standard of the place. All in all not a repeat stay here. Lady who checked us in was nice.

Limited parking, sink drain was closed and lift leaver broken (i had to pry it open with a tool), sink tap handle falls off, room strongly smelled of cigarettes, AC did not cool or dehumidify the room and sounded like a small tractor, bathroom pipes sounded like a big tractor, floor was dirty, had only 1 bath and 1 face towel in a two bed room (i had to go to front desk to get more), walls are paper thin. Pros: staff are nice and reasonable.

The staff at the front desk was friendly and professional. My room was clean and I love that it’s near Eateries, gas stations, Target and other shopping centers.

This property used to be a Motel 6, and I have stayed at it when it was Motel 6. It was better maintained when it was Motel 6. The duvet covers had a burn hole in it, the flooring in the bathroom had gaps between the planks, the shower head ring was not attached to the wall, and the tub needed to be cleaned better. And my key had to be reprogrammed twice in three days.

The property is a former Motel 6 and I don't think Wyndham did any inspection or approval of this property prior to the turn over to Super 8. It surely does not meet their standards. Sheets and bed covers were stained, bathroom light not working, no breakfast offered. One morning they didn't even have coffee!! I'll be contacting Wyndham corporate to let them know!

Budget hotel, sure, but the Walnut Creek CA Super 8 is really a run-down, foul smelling transient dive. Trembling junkies and a pool of vomit on the sidewalk do not make a pleasant stay. I did not stay , but left within the hour with only a nod from the desk clerk. A depressing, disgusting experience under the Wyndham umbrella.

Room was clean with but very dated. No bathroom amenities provided. Bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner. No Wifi. Small TV worked fine but had to be manually adjusted as there is no remote control. Bathtub had cigarette burns along edge. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

No available shower towels as staff didn’t have enough supply, and water clogging on both the sink and bath. Everything else was great! Clean and safe space, many power outlets, lights, etc. staff was friendly too

Beside the location near to public transport, the motel is terrible, the electric plug dangerously hang out ! No remote for the tv, I asked for it numerous times . The bathroom need a big refreshing, no shampoo, a tiny piece of horrible soap. The room was smelling cigarettes probably an old smell ! I used to stay in that place many years before . Never been that bad !!!! Well , this hotel is not expensive but needs a really good update. I will not mind a price going up for a better maintenance.

Key card didn’t work first time, second time it let me into a very hot room where the air conditioner would not turn on, third time I got a room with working a/c. Didn’t feel it should have taken that long to get a room

The mattress was thin and uncomfortable. The shower walls had mold around each and every seam. The sink was so slow to drain and in the morning the tub would no drain. They did fix the tub drain but the sink was the same. The walls need to be cleaned. We had to go to the office everyday to get towels. Will never stay there again
