Great Property

This was the perfect spot for my family. It is cozy, has every amenity needed and the location is fantastic. I would definitely stay here again!

Super Nice owner

We stayed for a month while renovating a house. Nicely stocked kitchen, comfortable bed. Nice place to hang out. Great location for walks and restaurants. Highly recommend. Accommodating owner.

As a seasoned VRBO guest I have to say this was the best experience yet! Jonathan and Patrick are friendly, attentive and seem to have thought of everything. Charging cords and technology, desks, full kitchen, loads of towels, cuddly throws and truly everything you could need away from home. They were immediately responsive when we had questions. Their taste is excellent, quality of furnishings above most VRBO's. Located in a fantastic part of Houston. Walkable to the wonderful Coffee House at West End and the Toasted Yolk. Easy drive to walking/exercise areas such as Buffalo Bayou and Memorial Park. Close to restaurants.100% recommend!

These guys are literally amazing!

We absolutely loved the entire space! Two private outdoor areas not to mention the beautifully renovated interior! The kitchen is stunning and a great workspace for those whole love to cook! The hosts are amazing, getting literally anything they may not have already stocked as far as necessities! They were so welcoming to us and our dogs (who can be a little rowdy sometimes). Literally could not ask for better hosts!

perfect location

We came in for a wedding and this unit was perfect for us! Close to restaurants, groceries, and the wedding venue. Jonathan and Patrick were very quick to respond with any questions or concerns. The unit was extremely comfortable and perfect for our needs. I highly recommend it.

Awesome stay

We needed a long term stay as we were in between houses and found the happy treehouse. It had everything we needed. Really, everything. One of the very few listings that allowed us to bring our multiple pets (4 cats and a rabbit!) with us. The hosts, Jonathan and Richard were awesome. Hands down the most helpful and communicative hosts I’ve ever met. Their positive energy was contagious! In summary, we very much enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend them.

SO close to Memorial Park!!!

I initially thought I would only be here about a week or two...stretched into over 2 months...I had 2 Cats, and was between houses after selling mine...Location, SECURITY, and immaculate comfort with ALL the modern conveniences topped my list...I NEVER thought I would find ALL that, a super place for my kitties to feel safe in, AND be so close to Memorial Park, where I like to exercise everyday... Honestly...at TOTAL SCORE!!!!! Completely remodeled, BEAUTIFULLY appointed kitchen/appliances, lovely remodeled bathroom, gorgeous original wood floors...furnished so comfortably...I could go on & on...PERFECTION!!! Plus...the 2 Landlords, Patrick & Jonathan, were always handy if I had ANY needs at all... If you have animals, love vintage charm in a remodeled setting, in a close-in location...THIS is the place for YOU!!!

Treehouse oasis

Was just what we were looking for. Met up with a friend flying in to town for the weekend, and was looking for a location centrally located yet quiet for recharging and respite, and this was it. Located on a quiet block just a couple of streets away from great restaurants, as soon as I stepped in, I knew this was the place. Furnishings you could tell were thoughtfully selected for comfort and simple luxury. The scale of the place was perfect to feel immediately cozy and comfortable. Both my friend and I have crazy busy lives and finding quiet time is a precious experience. You could hear just enough noise to know you were in an urban area, but not enough to know you had neighbors, if you know what I mean. Everything you could possibly want in terms of kitchen implements, comfortably sized bedrooms and bathroom were there. We spent most of our time in the living space with the windows surrounding us, letting the morning light filter through, enjoying tea and coffee and conversation. Evenings we were minutes from some of the best restaurants in Houston and even wandered the neighborhood for a walk as the weather was that nice. Jonathan was wonderfully communicative and even accommodated my additional requests. We really didn’t want to leave. If I have a need to come to Houston again I would not hesitate to book this one. It was an absolute gem from beginning to the end. Thank you so much Jonathan!

Already recommended

We came to Houston to take our son to grad school and stayed here for close to a week. The home had everything that we needed... kitchen well stocked with nice appliances, washer & dryer, plenty of towels, comfortable couches & beds, etc. One big concern for us coming to Houston in August was how hot and humid it would be, the house has GREAT AC! The owners were quick to respond and very easy to work with. We've already recommended this property to our sons roommate's parents. Would totally stay here again!

Amazing

I loved everything about this property. It is so charming and well designed - I felt right at home. It was also extremely clean, and the neighborhood is lovely. Jonathan and Patrick were exceptional hosts - so responsive and welcoming. It is clear that they have put a lot of thought and effort into making their guests feel comfortable - this place is truly a gem! I could not have had a better stay, and I hope to be able to stay here again.

Perfect place!

I came to Houston on a business trip and this was the perfect place for me!! There’s so much space and the location couldn’t get any better! Made use of the cute outside areas a lot and just truly enjoyed my stay! (My cats also loved it too). Thank you! Hope to come back soon!

PERFECT Cozy Houston Retreat near Downtown

We loved every second of our stay at John & Patrick’s home. It was beautifully furnished-mixing antique with modern effortlessly. The kitchen had everything we needed including small appliances like toaster oven, air fryer, blender, etc. we also appreciated being able to wash our clothes after an afternoon spent walking Memorial Park. Both beds were huge CA kings with comfortable bedding as lots of pillows.The location was ideal! We were within 10-15mins of everything. We walked our dogs on Memorial Park path everyday and they loved the huge dog park. The museum district was 5 mins away, Herman Outdoor theater made for a nice evening out with live music, great foodie spots and shopping nearby. We brought our two medium sized dogs, and they left out a new dog toy and dog bowls for them upon arrival.We felt totally safe in the neighborhood, mix of new townhomes and historic homes with beautiful old oaks and magnolias.We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing home with all the amenities

We loved staying at Jonathan and Patrick’s property in the the heights! It is beautifully built with all the amenities anyone could need. Everything is super high quality. Also the bed Is really comfortable which is not typical in a rental. The location is amazing. We ran to the bayou every day and stayed in and around the area for eating out. We will come back again and recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in Houston.

Amazing home and great hosts!

Our stay in this home was amazing! Everything was exactly as advertised. Jonathan and Patrick were great hosts and went above and beyond to make us and our animals feel at home. The location is also perfect. 15 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from the Galleria, and within walking distance to some great restaurants and bars. We definitely recommend the home with its quaint feel and newly remodeled interior. I can't say enough positive things about our experience.
