Eco-Friendly Retreat with Saltwater Pool, Near Loire and Angers

In the peaceful bocage countryside, 35 km from Angers and 5 km from the Loire River, this detached barn, located near the owners' house, has been renovated with respect for heritage and the environment (Ecogîte label). It features a private, semi-enclosed 300 m² garden with a south-facing terrace and a large natural area surrounding the cottage. A heated saltwater swimming pool (shared with the owners, 10 x 5 m) is available from mid-May to mid-September.

Ground floor: living/dining room with open-plan fitted kitchen (wood-burning stove), small TV lounge, 1 bedroom (double bed 140 x 190 cm), shower room/WC accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Upstairs: 1 large bedroom (4 single beds 90 x 190 cm, 2 of which can be joined together), shower room/WC.

Amenities included: Wi-Fi, baby equipment on request (cot, baby bath, and high chair).

Included: bed linen (beds made), electricity (excluding electric car charging), underfloor heating.

Not included: firewood (wood stove - €10/crate), towels (€5/person), and cleaning fee (mandatory for business clients - €90). The cottage is accessible to people with reduced mobility, including motorized and non-motorized wheelchairs, throughout the ground floor and up to the pool terrace. Turning spaces are provided and have been tested by previous guests. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and grab bars; a shower seat is also provided. The kitchen allows wheelchair access to all appliances (sink, cooktop, etc.).

The cottage is also adapted for visually impaired people, with floor markings, contrasting colors for light switches and sockets, and a gas cooktop.

It has held the Tourism & Disability label for all types of disabilities for five years.
