Beautiful stay at whale house, we will be back. Simple check in, amazing hot tub views and everything you need. Such a short walk to the fork for one of Newfoundland's best restaurants.

We loved our stay at the Whale Guest House -- we stayed in the Blue House. It was easy to find and check in/out, impecably clean, comfortable bed and shower, and has amazing views of the surrounding bay and open ocean in the distance from inside and the outdoor patios. The host / staff were incredibly helpful before hand with information on local restraunts and things to see or do (including boat local boat tour recommendations), and we arrived earlier than planned and allowed us to check in in advance which was greatly appretiated. On our final night we treated ourselves to an amazing hot tub under the full harvest moon reflecting over the Atlantic - it was a perfect way to wrap up our stay in Newfoundland. Thank you!

The unit with the kitchen was a bit tight for a long term stay, but it was well maintained and the hot tub was a great addition

Beautiful view, trails nearby and the bed is comfortable. Loved the hottub. The only critique was there was only a tiny sink in the bathroom, making it difficult to clean kitchen utensils. Overall would highly recommend, we would definitely go back again.

We were so pleasantly surprised with how cute and cozy our little Guest House/room was. It was so modern and well equipped with everything we would have needed within the kitchen and a bonus was we were able to use the sauna in the evening before our sleep! Thank you for providing us with a wonderful and comfortable overnight stay! Would have loved to have stayed longer but we we needed to continue on our road trip route.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Orca room. It is a smaller room and does not have an AC. Overall this was reasonable value for the price. It was perfect for the 2 of us.

Great property love the theme and the units are cute and very comfortable only issue I had was the people upstairs very noisy when they are walking around almost sounds like stomping woke me up a few times so be mindful other than that I would recommend Whale House

Lovely location, right on the East Coast Trail. Easy to find. Sauna was wonderful. Room was great - cooking facilities were nice to reduce eating out costs. Could hear people in adjacent rooms (just everyday noises, they were not being particularly noisy/partying).

I stayed at Orca Room - A lovely room with a small kitchenette and a bathroom. There was nicely scented shower gel and shampoo. The location is very quiet, right on the water. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs, as the rooms are a bit noisy. I was prepared, so everything was fine. Thank you.

The view and bed were great! The very large room was clean and well decorated. The one major problem that we had with this establishment was their obsession with water conservation. There was a kitchen but no kitchen sink. The bathroom had the one and only sink which measured four by seven inches. There is a timer in the shower for five minutes for your shower. This would be plenty if the shower jet were stronger. This was a spot that I could see retreating to do a lengthy stay if there was a better way to clean the dishes and myself!

Not up to standard for the price. No staff, except one person who grudgingly brought toilet paper awhile after I texted since there was none in the room. He didn’t say hello or anything pleasant, just provided one roll and said there was already some in the cupboard. Obviously I had already checked that before texting and there was not. I said nothing but was very put off and this set a negative, unwelcoming tone for our stay. Some of the dishes were visibly dirty, so we had to wash everything before using. Insufficient sound buffer between lower and upper room, we were bothered by constant noise (vacuuming, stomping), including being woken up near midnight by stomping upstairs. Children screaming in the adjacent yard for hours on our second night right beside outdoor hot tub, making it impossible to use. The requirement to put toilet paper in a garbage rather than flushing it is gross and unsanitary. Get some eco-friendly bidets if you are prohibiting flushing paper.

This little hideaway is absolutely gorgeous! We enjoyed the views and the well kept hot tub. The greeters were also very entertaining!
