Family-Friendly house by the sea, Northumberland

  • A solo 50 metros de la hermosa bahía de Newbiggin con orientación sur, Bolt Hole junto a la playa es un gran lugar para que las familias disfruten de un tiempo precioso junto al mar. Tiene capacidad para 6 personas en 2 habitaciones (máximo de 4 adultos compartiendo 2 camas dobles por favor - cama de invitados + cama junior disponible también disponible) la propiedad ofrece a los turistas una base limpia, fresca, moderna y cómoda para visitar la costa de Northumbria, Newcastle y las fronteras escocesas.

    El salón está amueblado con cómodos asientos y tiene una TV INTELIGENTE con DVD y Netflix, etc. Tenemos una conexión de banda ancha confiable y ofrecemos wifi gratuito, por lo que incluso si el clima no es bueno, puede acurrucarse con un tiro acogedor y conectarse con el mundo.

    La cocina temática de la playa tiene todo lo que necesita para facilitar su cocina, incluyendo una lavadora, horno eléctrico y vitrocerámica, microondas, frigorífico, tostadora y una buena variedad de utensilios. Loo roll y otros elementos esenciales siempre se proporcionan para su estancia.

    La mesa del comedor es extensible para que siempre puedas disfrutar de una comida con comodidad, sea cual sea el tamaño de tu fiesta, ¡excelente si prefieres una noche!

    El dormitorio principal es un lugar de paz y relajación y está decorado de forma sencilla con un mural en la pared de Newbiggin Bay. Amueblado con una cama doble, tocador y mesitas de noche, es un gran lugar para escuchar el sonido del mar y quedarse dormido. Nuestra espaciosa 'habitación familiar' está amueblada con una litera triple que comprende una cama doble con una individual arriba. También hay una cama para invitados y una 'cama preparada' junior disponible si la necesita. La sala tiene mucho espacio de almacenamiento, así como espacio de juego para sus pequeños piratas para que puedan disfrutar de nuestro cofre del tesoro de juegos, juguetes, libros piratas, disfraces y DVD cuando no están disfrutando de la libertad de la playa.

    El baño está parcialmente alicatado y nuestra ducha de hidromasaje sobre la bañera proporciona abundante agua caliente, ¡perfecta para enjuagar la arena que has traído de la playa!

    Hay estacionamiento gratuito disponible en la calle y enlaces de transporte a poca distancia.

    El patio privado y cerrado no se pasa por alto y es ideal para disfrutar del desayuno al aire libre o simplemente relajarse en su pijama al final de un ajetreado día de turismo.

    Lo que proporcionamos como estándar:
    Uso razonable de gas / electricidad, secador de pelo, WIFI gratuito, estacionamiento gratuito en la calle.

Excellent proximity to the beach! Clean, nice decor, had everything we needed. Parking was easy and I loved the kids' room that had plenty of toys and things do!

Great holiday home away from home. Easy parking, steps to the beach and restaurants. Enjoyed walking trails a short drive away. Definitely recommend!

We had such a lovely stay at this property. The house was so clean and it had everything you could possibly need. A great added extra was all the sea/beach themed toys for the children. The host was lovely and answered any questions we had beforehand. Will definitely stay again :)

You won’t be disappointed! A beautiful stay! Quiet, spotless property close to everything Newbiggin and the surrounding area has to offer. Elaine is a gracious host and has thought of everything to make your stay feel like home. Every message was answered quickly. We were even greeted with a lovely Anniversary note when we arrived! Amazing late summer break by the beach

This property is perfect for a break on the Northumberland coast. The location. is ideal - so near the beach and Elaine has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would highly recommend and would certainly stay again.

Lovely "Bolt Hole by the Beach"

We enjoyed a delightful stay in this quiet home just a short walk from the beach. Be aware that there is a steep stairway up to the two bedrooms and WC.

New years break

This is a beautiful little terrace house in a very quiet area with a few minutes walk to the beach/sea. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped with games, books etc. This is a perfect place for a break. Totally recommend.

Third visit says it all

This house is outstanding. Elaine caters for everyone especially children and as we know when the kids are happy the adults can relax. We have stayed for the third time last weekend , it is such a central area with a beach minutes away also. We will be back certainly.

Great Property

We stayed at the property for two days while sight seeing in the north east on our way back to the south of England from Edinburgh. The property was immaculate and Elaine was a fantastic host. It is particularly good for families with small children as Elaine has thought of and provided everything they could need.

A great base for discovering Northumberland!

Ein perfektes Haus für eine Familie, um Northumberland und darüber hinaus (Edinburgh, Durham etc) zu entdecken. Das Haus war sehr sauber mit schöner geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Es gab absolut nichts, was gefehlt hätte. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit! ‐-------‐------------ A great place for a family to discover Notthumberland and beyond. The house was very clean with beautiful interior. Not a single thing was missing. We had a great time!

Back Again

Obviously we rated the accomodation very highly as we returned for a second visit within 6 months. The house is well situated 43seconds from the sea. Counted by my husband and grandson. Very well equipped, Elaine has thought of everything. The second bedroom was a delight for my grandson and us with a pirate theme and toys. Newbiggin is a nice town with an extensive beach and walking areas. We will return.

Nice quiet 3 day break

I booked the property for my parents & their friend as a surprise getaway to relax. The first thing my parents commented on was how clean the property was and that it smelled amazing on arrival. They loved the location of the house, also they appreciated that should kids be staying there, the toys/dress up provided & also the style of the second bedroom would be fantastic for them. My dad who suffers with Arthritis was also very complimentary to the comfort of the bed in the master bedroom, saying its the best nights sleep he'd had in years. Elaine was also very pleasant to speak to and went out of her way to suggest afternoon teas/local cafes for my parents to visit. All in all a fantastic overall experience

Perfect stay

Firstly we had a great stay, everything was perfect, the children loved to pirate themed room. It was a shame we didnt get to spend more time here as we used it to sleep and change to much tto do and see. The bad part now. we left everything as found, the host claims we left spill damage all over the place and has to have everything upholstered, they provided photos as evidence of the damage which is a joke. Non of said evidence was present when we left. We are honest people if we left any damage i would of contacted the host immediately to inform them. Absolute shame at the behaviour ofmthe host was such a nice place to stay. They also claim to have contacted us about this but the only message i received was from vrbo saying we are being charged a damage fee. What a shame

Neat, clean and great for exploring the area!

We enjoyed our stay, the accomodation was neat, clean and as displayed in the advert. The location was a bit different from what we had anticipated for eventhough the beach was nearby. The street in which the accomodation was situated was somewhat basic. The host, Elaine, was a real sweetheart and responded in a heartbeat to our questions and did everything to make out stay comfortable. We had a great stay, Newbiggin is very central to go and explore Northumberland. Deffinately a recommendation worthy.

Super Seaside Stay

could not recommend this accommodation more. We were a mixed family group from 2years old, his Daddy and Grandparent. Elaine had provided a range of good quality toys e.g. Fisher Price Pirate ship which our grandson loved. The house was clean and comfortable with everything you could need. The area was a short walk to the lovely town and the beach was only minutes away. Could not recommend this accommodation more and Elaine was easily contacted if needed .

A week in Newbiggin by the sea

Wow what a fantastic holiday we’ve just had with our two grandchildren! The house was brilliant, so clean and cosy and with EVERYTHING we could possibly need!! 3.45 minutes to walking on the beach, timed by the grandson! A lovely clean beach, soft sand, clear water and rock pools which kept us happy till sunset!! Easy access to plenty of things to see and a wonderful host who was available to us with ideas. Thank you Elaine xx

Great house, lovely beach and rock pools. Super for a family.

Everything was clean and it was well resourced. Close to the sea and local amenities. Great local Indian Restaurant. Yum.

Extremely relaxing

Ideal for families, we loved this location, as it was an easy commute to surrounding areas. So much provided in the house, especially the toys and games for the kids, much thought has gone into this, and my boys loved every minute. Much thanks to the host Elaine and also to the very friendly local community . One of the best family friendly holidays we’ve had.

Lovely jubilee break

House was lovely, our boys loved the toys and DVD collection. Beaches very close visited 3 and was nice to just walk out the door to the local beach. We ate in every night, kitchen well equipped for this. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable, nice and quiet at night. Thanks for a lovely stay

Perfect little bolt hole by the beach

Over all renting experience was brilliant from start to finish. Perfect property and location will definately go back one day with our grandchildren.

Peace and tranquillity

We had a fabulous week, in a fabulous town and a fabulous property. Everything we needed was there, extremely comfortable, warm and everything brilliantly clean. Everything worked, great shower, comfortable bed and a real credit to Elaine the owner. Also excellent value for money. I would fully recommend this to both couples and families. Thank you for allowing us to share your lovely home.

Fabulous Bolt Hole

The property is beautifully clean, tastefully furnished and decorated and provides everything you need, including games and toys for children. It is located one road back from the beach front, 2 minutes walk and near enough to hear the waves. The village is small with a couple of shops for provisions and take aways but easy driving distance from the lovely towns of Amble, Warkworth, and Alnwick. We had a lovely four days here 😊
