The stay was overall great!!! I did have a little trouble getting into the room but one easy call with the staff cleared everything up!! I definitely recommend this places if your looking for a nice and affordable stay! I Will definitely be coming back!

Nice clean, cool room. Check in and out was seamless and easy. Plenty of space for my son's great dane. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back soon!

This is a great property at Oak Island. It is very clean and economical. It also has a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The only missing item was a hairdryer. It is within walking distance to several restaurants, shops, bars and even ice cream! It is pet friendly, but rooms are so clean you would never believe that a pet had been in the room. I will definitely stay here again.

Whe had a great stay at the hotel just a few issues. Walls are paper thin and the noise level at midnite was aggravating. My grandson got stung by a huge wasp in the room 3 times but we worked it out. Location and cleanliness was very refreshing and I calked and they let us check in early which was very nice. I'd stay again and refer people to the hotel.

Beautiful room, looks brand new and was nicely appointed with very nice furniture. The fridge was retro and cute, bed was very comfortable. Some dustier floors than I would have liked but sometimes this is to be expected in beachy environments. This was nothing major, overall the room was lovely and comfortable and I would recommend this as a great place to stay.

Adorable Motel

Easy check in and out, speedy response from owners, updated rooms! The word "motel" scares me but this spot was charming with great location.

The room was clean overall. We didn’t really have much contact with the staff, I thought a $50 fee to check in 2 hours early was a bit insane, especially to just be able to put your things in the room as we were heading to the beach anyway. We had to pay the $20 to park at the beach instead. It would have been nice to have some tissues in the room and there was no blow dryer. I don’t like packing it since it’s so bulky. The walk to the beach is not far but if you have kids and a lot of stuff, it can be quite a chore. The lights coming in from outside can be pretty bright at night so shades under the blinds would help. The room was pretty quiet and bed was comfortable. The updates in the room were nice. Parking is a little tight.

Very dog-friendly area and didn't use the car once! A block from the beach, restaurants, shops. Extremely easy to check in/out and staff is GREAT! Will stay here again for sure :)

Clean and simple. Rooms had wooden floors which is good at the beach, Beds were clean and comfortable. There is a small fridge/freezer that worked well, microwave and small coffee maker. Plenty of towels that were thick and fluffy. TV with streaming platforms. No room key needed - uses key code sent to your phone at check-in. Would be nice to have some hooks on the wall for hanging beach stuff, and would be nice to have an ice machine on premises. Otherwise great! Bit of a walk to the beach - about 4 blocks, would be good to have a wagon to carry your things. Pet friendly too. Would stay here again.

If your booking through Expedia. Call ahead to learn how to sign in to your room. Its All ONLINE. There's nothing mentioned on the Expedia site about this. You can catch the site manager to get signed in. There are NO WHEELCHAIR accessible rooms. We had to build a small ramp to get ours inside. Rooms are very nice and the AC is cold. Ask how to adjust it because there is no control in the room. Now that we know the layout we will be visiting again. We will bring our own ramps next time.

Last minute trip

This was a last minute trip for a night- the customer service was top notch! The room was perfect for us as a family of 4. The pool was great as well! Very close to great restaurants and shops as well as close enough walk to the beach!

This inn is quaint and cozy. The interior furnishings appear to be handcrafted and done well. The beach is easy to walk to and the local shops and restaurants are close. We had a great little stay here. Highly recommend this!
