Great Property when things work...
I will start with all the good/great things about the property. Well laid out with 4 large beds (Full/queen sizes). The book staff were amazing: Answered every question, were patient and connected us with a reliable transfer service. We were allowed into the apartment early to drop off luggage. The location was very convenient with easy access to metro and bus stops. Amazing pasty shop nearby and several wonderful restaurants within an easy walk.Now onto the not so great parts: The closets smelled as if someone cooked food inside them. We were able to wash our clothes in the washer/dryer and we were not sure if the washer/dryer needed a good clean out or the closets made our clothes smell. The AC stopped working with two nights to go and the elevator only worked half of the days we were there. When you pay for AC and an elevator in the summer, you expect to get AC and a working elevator. Opening the windows was not ideal at night with the noise from the bar/store across the street. The staff tried to solve the AC problem (they really were a great staff! not sarcasm) and it was beyond their abilities. We were told we would be given a refund for one of our nights. Now, a month later, still waiting on that refund. We were able to wash our clothes in the washer/dryer and we were not sure if the washer/dryer needed a good clean out or the closets made our clothes smell. I also had to unclog the drains in the shower and sink as they were clogged.
