The staff go above and beyond to ensure that your stay goes well, and are very easy to get in contact with. The site has plenty of extra amenities to make for a relaxing getaway.

It was empty when we arrived, their site said they had a restaurant with amazing food however it was closed so we had to drive to find dinner and breakfast the next day. It’s a very old and not so well cared for lodge with very small rooms.

Nice clean room. Decent internet connection. View was very nice and staff were very helpful, especially when I accidentally locked myself out of the room. This was my second trip to your property and I will use you again.

My wife and I stayed at the Westwind Inn this past weekend and were disappointed by both the value and customer service. When we arrived, the parking lot was nearly empty. We learned only 3 of the Inn's 32 rooms were occupied Friday night. Due to issues with the Inn's website, I had to book through Expedia and was assigned a woods-facing room. Given how empty the property was, I asked about moving to a lake-view room. Although many were available, I was charged an additional $75 per night plus tax, on top of the $700+ already paid for two nights. To make matters worse, the upgraded room didn't even have the jacuzzi tub our original room included. On our second night, a family emergency required us to leave early. I called the owner because the front desk was unstaffed and was simply told to leave the key on the desk. I wasn't expecting a refund, but some gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way. The property feels stuck in the past and is severely overpriced for what is offered. The rooms are dated, maintenance is lacking (including cobwebs on the balcony), beach towels are not provided, the restaurant was closed unless pre-booked well in advance, the pool was unheated, outdoor furniture was uncomfortable, and there was no daily housekeeping. What may have been a wonderful destination years ago is now run down and in need of significant updating. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Staff was great place needs better tv Hot tub was empty.Pool was great.The putting green they had sprinkler going all day. Dock needs to been rentvated hand rails need to be fixed.

Westwind is located in beautiful natural environment in the woods and by the water. Sport equipments is available such as boats, bicycles and the modest version of the golf range. Gardens are beautifully arranged and the native canadian plants such as trillium were blooming. Looking forward to enjoy this quite place again.

Tranquility Here I Come!

Our stay was short but the time spent was awesome. We did not want to leave. If you are looking for down time, peace and quiet, fun, relaxation, beautiful serene area, breath taking views, then this is the place. It left us wanting more. We will be back, next time - longer!

Expected shower gel or bathing soap in the bathroom but ran out. Overpriced for it's worth. Pretentious king bed was 2 small beds joined together, which affected quality of our sleep; toilet not cleaned until we checked in and showed it to her; overall property quality low; and the quality of customer support during stay: lake guide, instruction using canoes; showing around the property etc.

we just stayed for one hour and got out of this property, our long weekend plans are screwed and we had to drive back all the way to home.

The staff was great overall but the property could definitely use some upgrades... they have a beautiful spot but it’s stuck back in time.. they can still achieve rustic cottage and give you that lodge feeling... but things are outdated to a fault.. the food could be much better and our room was not clean.. in the time of covid I would expect more.. but we had a dirty washcloth and a water bottle under our bed when we arrived and that was with an upgraded room.. which makes you question the overall cleanliness... and we feel the food should have been included in our $500/night room cost as it wasn’t a fine dining experience at all.. and there was a big patio over looking the water that had old crap furniture and wasn’t open for dining... it would have made the ambience better if they maximized that space...we had a nice stay for the most part and made the best of it, which is easy to do, there’s activities in the day and it’s quiet at night so great for a peaceful retreat, but it would benefit from some room and dining upgrades.

The out door areas were lovely. The displays of antiques and general decor were amazing. The one thing in our room that was questionable was the retro (vintage 1984) television. The meals were superb. The handling of the COVID 19 requirements were well done.

Was originally booked for the Monday and it was calling for rain all day. Inga emailed and offered to change the reservation to the next day. This was an amazing gesture and it was greatly appreciated. Had lots of fun

Property is wooded and well kept. We enjoyed the walking through the woods and nearby area. Lots of areas to sit and reflect. Food was absolutely excellent. You will not go hungry here! Kevin, you did an amazing jog, thank you!
