This place was so dirty and in much need of repair. We got in late or there’s no way we would have stayed here. They tried to use perfume to cover up the smell but it made it so much worse!

I have stayed there annually for 4 straight years to attend an event in nearby Sikeston. This year, for the first time, there was no couch or coffee table in my room, only a small computer desk and chair. I used to enjoy the small couch and table when watching TV and eating or using my laptop. I did not enjoy the extra empty space with no furniture. The receptionist said their removal was an "upgrade" and commented "We're doing it 'right' now..." whatever that means? Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay as usual. RB

The room was spacious and could have used a small loveseat for TV watching. The breakfast didn't include pastries or a waffle machine. There's instant oatmeal and apples, OJ, coffee and apple juice. I'm hoping as they continue to renovate it will be like other hotels I've stayed at for the same price.

Don't judge a book by its cover! Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Pull up to your door to park and unload. Use the door to the hallway to get your breakfast in the morning.

The outside of the hotel needs some work The breakfast needed more than instant oatmeal for breakfast. Muffins wrapped separately would have been nice. Banana along with the apples. Cold cereals in little bowls. Just anything more than what they had.

Does NOT have smoking rooms. You can book one but they don’t have ANY for several months now. My room was recently renovated so it was fairly clean but no chair or ice bucket but the ice machine was out of order. Breakfast is a granola bar and coffee or an apple.

For the price, the room was acceptable. There had been some attempts to update the rooms. There was no carpet in the room we were in. The bed was hard and on a squeaky platform. The air-conditioning was set to 78 when we arrived at 11pm so it was warm in the room as we were trying to go to sleep. We left early in the morning so we did not check out the breakfast. My main complaint would be the person who checked us in was on her cell phone the whole time and nearly checked me in under someone else's reservation.

Property is in terrible condition, staff was short with us and refused to give a refund on the room when we were not happy with the condition of the hotel. Would not stay.

Bed bugs. Woke up itching. Stayed here 3 years ago and some things were updated, but didn’t get bug bites that stay. 1) helpful and kind staff 2) exterior is half way repainted, doors and trim in a state of patching. 3) room air was swampy, even with the ac on. 4) desk, tv stand, vanity, mirror, nightstands all new… tub and headboard were not. Tub looked dirty when clean. 5) towels and sheets are bright white, fitted sheet had a 4” black grease? stain 6) bed was comfortable, but I woke up with two bed bug bites. I threw away about $60 worth of items to avoid putting them in the car.
