EL APARTAMENTO CARUSO es un apartamento de unos 160 metros cuadrados, espacioso y luminoso, ubicado en el centro de Sorrento, a pocos metros de la playa. Cuenta con 3 baños y puede alojar hasta 6 personas. El apartamento está equipado con aire acondicionado, calefacción, Internet WI-FI y TV. A 400 metros del apartamento hay un garaje privado para 1 coche.


El apartamento Caruso se encuentra en Piazza Tasso, en el corazón de Sorrento. Estarás cerca de restaurantes, tiendas, bares y supermercados. La playa de Marina Piccola y el puerto, desde donde se puede tomar el hidroala a Capri, Ischia o Nápoles, están a menos de 500 metros. Llegará a ellos en menos de diez minutos a pie, en autobús o tomando el ascensor ubicado en Villa Comunale, a pocos metros del apartamento. La estación de tren Circumvesuviana que conduce a Pompeya y Nápoles y la parada de autobús SITA que conduce a Positano, Amalfi y Ravello están a menos de 400 metros.

El apartamento Caruso se encuentra en el primer piso de un edificio antiguo. Llegará al apartamento desde la calle subiendo unos 16 escalones.

No se requiere coche para quedarse en el apartamento Caruso. Para quienes viajan en automóvil, será posible aparcar de forma gratuita en el garaje privado (para 1 automóvil) a unos 400 metros de distancia.


Planta baja

LA SALA DE ESTAR ES BRILLANTE. Cuenta con una mesa de comedor para seis personas, un sofá, un televisor de pantalla plana, aire acondicionado, calefacción y conexión a Internet WI-FI. La habitación tiene una ventana que da a la ciudad. Aquí también encontrará la cocina. La cocina está equipada con una placa de inducción, una nevera con congelador, un horno eléctrico, un lavavajillas, una tostadora, una cafetera americana, un hervidor eléctrico y una cafetera de estilo italiano.

EL PRIMER DORMITORIO tiene dos camas individuales (bajo petición, se pueden unir y convertirse en una cama doble), aire acondicionado, TV, calefacción y una ventana que da a la ciudad. Llegarás al dormitorio desde la sala de estar.

EL PRIMER BAÑO está equipado con un lavabo, un bidé, una ducha, un inodoro y una lavadora. Llegarás al baño desde la sala de estar.

IL BALCONE está ubicado en el techo del apartamento y está equipado con dos camas, una mesa pequeña y una ducha externa. Llegará al balcón desde el primer piso subiendo unos 5 escalones.

Fantastic location, beautiful old building but terrible mould in the downstairs bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen needs replacing as some of the draws were rotten and the work surface wasn't great.

Great host & great location! Spiral staircase & stairs to roof deck were a little tough for older family members.One of the bedrooms upstairs doesn’t have windows, so it was a little dark.Overall, a nice stay.

The unit was very spacious, clean and in a great location. Rita was excellent in communicating and getting us to the right property. Our only complaint was that the A/C unit in the kitchen and bedroom on the first floor did not work. Sleeping was very difficult with the window open as the street noise was at times loud. The coffee pot did not work. The terrace was a special bonus as we spent our evenings up there enjoying the views. Overall, I would not hesitate to rent again.

Family vacation with adult couples…

Sorrento is one of our favorite vacation areas. We have family in Naples and made a week pilgrimage to the Vatican, then Naples, then Sorrento. Was a great balance and Sorrento offered the perfect finish.The property location was PERFECT. Property was clean and room sizes were very comfortable.We were in Sorrento during an extreme heat wave and the apartment air conditioning struggled to keep up. I was VERY hot, although the evenings were comfortable.I would recommend this property due to location and comfort. Rita and the team were great to work with and helped us coordinate a number of side trips to Capri and Amalfi guided tours.Thank you all !!

Great Location and Host

The apartment is centrally located at Piazza Tasso and walking distance to all amenities. Our host gave us great recommendations for places around town and we really enjoyed our stay. The only possible negative is that being located at Piazza Tasso can be a bit noisy so if you are a light sleeper take that into consideration.

Incredible location!

This place was amazing! It is less than 200 feet from Tasso Square. Our family of five had more than enough room. Rita was very easy to communicate with during the check-in process. I highly recommend this place.

The A/C did not work in the 2 bedrooms upstairs. The downstairs units were spotty but could maintain a cooler than outside temp. The location is wonderful but with no A/C did not enjoy trying to sleep. The owner offered a small discount but I would have preferred the A/C.

No Air Conditioning

We rented the property through Amore Rental/VRBO. The apartment was in a great location behind Fauno Bar. However, the air conditioning in the bedrooms did not work. We pulled out the air filte r and they were covered with dust and dirt. Obviously not cleaned in a very long time. it probably broke the a/c units. They sent someone to fix it, but it did not work. we only had the small a/c in the kitchen, but did not cool down the upstairs. Luckily there is a small roof deck and we opened it at night to get cool air. The bathroom in the bedroom in the back was disgusting. Mold behind the toilet, mold in the shower everywhere, and the shower floor was cracked a lot. another bedroom had missing drywall exposing metal beams. Amore rentals does not pay attention to the units they manage.

Loved the rooftop balcony! Excellent welcome from Rita who assisted us with dinner reservations! Housekeepers need to step up the cleaning, freezer was unusable as it was filled with ice - couldn’t close. Extra towels and toilet paper would be great! No dryer but drying racks available on patio. Fig trees in lobby are not being watered so are dying. Location is excellent as well as communication. Loud outside main floor bedroom at night - a group gathers here to party.

Perfect stay in Sorrento

Location of the property is perfect, right behind Fauno Bar in Tasso Square, walking distance to all of Sorrento and port. Rita communicated with me before our arrival and even arranged a driver for us to see the Amalfi Coast. It couldn’t have been more perfect for our family of 5 adults.

Sorrento FUN!!!

This property was a fabulous location and Rita was helpful and engaging - we had scheduled an all day boat tour but the weather looked terrible and she quickly gave us another boat operator for a sunset cruise that night! All the amenities u would need with each bedroom having it’s own bath.

Great location!

Great location, we had 6 people and it was very comfortable and clean! Only problem is that we ran out of hot water 3 times, because seem to be an issue however when I contacted the manager, she responded quickly and had someone come right over to help get it running again. Other than that it was great!

Great Location, some repairs required

Awesome location & great to have 3 bathrooms. Accommodated 6 of us well, plenty of space. Biggest disappointment was the broken washing machine, meaning hours wasted at the local laudromat. we stayed 5 nights and machine was still not working when we left, property manager was advised on day 2 . Few other minor issues, needs a few more items added, only 4 coffee mugs supplied, 2 of the 5 wine glasses were cracked, toaster & coffee maker broken.. couldn't get 4 of the 5 T.V;s to work & several lights broken or no bulbs. They are specific about the recycling/rubbish, with charges incurred if any if left, but no bags were provided (once asked they did deliver some). We are not ones to complain, but it's all such easy fix things that would have made this an amazing stay. Hoping things are repaired, replaced for the next people who rent this .

A disappointing rental

The location is good, but noisy..The place looks nice superficially, but we had lots of things that frustrated us - no heat on arrival, leaking windows and doors, kitchen very sparse. Our experience was very transactional and disappointing.

Convenient to downtown.

Property was efficient and basic. Had to buy a few things to make the kitchen functional but nothing big. Hot water heater had to be reset but worked fine after that.

Perfect Sorrento Location

This 3 bedroom, three bath apartment is directly behind Bar Fauno, in the very center of Sorrento. We were steps away from a morning coffee or an evening stroll and connections to Capri, the Amalfi coast, Pompeii and Naples. Six adults and an 8-month old spent 9 nights here in May 2019 and would do it again. The photos accurately reflect the property although they should add a photo of the living room since my concern when booking was that the only communal space was the kitchen when actually, there is a gathering area on the second floor that isn't pictured and we had plenty of room. My only minor criticisms would be that the crib we had ordered wasn't there when we arrived so we spent one night without it and, while two of the bathrooms have been updated, the third is due for a refresh. Everyone was happy with the choice we made and it added to our stay in Sorrento.
