The staff were friendly. The place could be cleaned better. Our room was dirty, there was dust on the furniture, mirrors had smears on them, and the bathroom shower was not cleaned properly. The room we were given also had a cigarette smell.

The staff was very helpful, the parking was convenient, and the room was clean. That's as far as the good things about the hotel went. The place is poorly maintained. A lot of the grout around the bathroom tiles was missing, and that was just the first obvious thing my traveling partner and I noticed. Breakfast the first day was a disaster. There was no milk, there were no scrambled eggs ("it takes 45 minutes to cook more if you want to wait"), and there was no waffle mix in the dispenser. It was marginally better the second day. The hotel looks like it was nice once upon a time, but has not been kept up. Shame, because the location is good.

I was assigned the wrong room, someone was already occupying. The toilet seat had one bolt holding it on and when I told them they said they did not have maintenance available

We booked the hotel because of its rating and indoor pool. When we got there the pool was closed for construction if I knew that ahead of time I would have gone somewhere else. The elevator is in need of service every time the doors would close they made a loud bang that echoed down the hall all night.

The staff was very welcoming and polite. The rooms were very iffy as the carpet was coming up and the bathrooms were not as clean as they should have been. We also had ants and the coffee maker did not work. When we went to use the pool it was empty and closed for maintenance, it was one of the main reasons we chose this property.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Lincoln, IL for the State Fair, and it looked nothing like the pictures online. Our first room smelled damp, had ants, and gnats were flying around the sink. We requested another room, only to find poop stains in the toilet. The elevator was broken our entire stay (8/21–8/23), so we had to carry heavy bags up to the 2nd and 3rd floors. The pool was also out of order, forcing us to go across the street to use another hotel's pool, and the only working ice machine was on the first floor.

We booked it specifically for the pool and when we got there thenpool was doen fof maintenance, they did not update the app to state anything about the pool being down and didnt wven care to accommodate us at all. Terrible customer service

I would not recommend this hotel. It is not well cared for. Our room was not clean, there were used towels on the back of the bathroom door and empty chip bags behind the bed. The breakfast was mediocre and the evening coffee was cold. We just need a place to stay for the night but will not return. This location needs a major renovation.

The hotel is quite dated, the pool was closed, and the breakfast wasn't worth getting up for. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful, but I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than one night. We were just passing through, so it served its purpose.

The front desk staff was so sweet, unfortunately the room was crawling with ants: floor, beds, night stand, and walls. The staff arranged another room. More ants. The lobby has various spots with holes in the walls. The 3rd floor hallway had what looked like excessive water damage where the wall met the ceiling. We are in the process of getting a refund as we left the property after viewing the second room. Can't comment on any of the other ammenities as we were not there long enough.

The hotel was okay. The pictures looked more pleasant than the actual room. It’s an older hotel, shows a little time, some wear and tear. Parking lot had plenty of open space which was nice for parking Staff were friendly. We did not take time for the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.

The person who checked us in was very nice. The experience from there went south. The elevator was not working and we had lug stuff up to the third floor. The pool was also closed and out of order. Then to top it off, every one of the ice machines on each floor, out of order. The room had a weird smell, like stale cigarettes when we first walked in. We woke up the next morning to find an ant infestation. They were all over a cup of lemonade we left in the table. We also found a few in our beds. $170 for ants as and everything out of order.
