Súper cómoda excelente hotel

I stayed at the Fifty Sonesta Hotel in NYC for 10 days. The hotel is nice, unfortunately the tendency is of less human contact and a quick check in, check out in the industry. Americans have forgotten that hospitality and willingness to make you feel safe and "at home", go a long way. The staff in reception did not solve many "concierge" issue, not seemed they concerned with them or how to help the guest. On the other hand, the 3 doormen: Romeo, Marco and Manolo, ARE DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE to make you feel at home, be helpful, etc.. Also the housekeeping maid, Barbara from Poland, was not only extremely efficient and friendly, but brought me a tea (from her home) for my cold. Obviously I tipped them generously. My first room had a leak in the bathroom and I was UPGRADED to a better room with balcony in the 18th floor, which I found extremely right and generous. The elevators are not the quickest or biggest ones, but they do their job. Overall my 10 days experience was good and I will book them again, hoping that the staff in reception takes some classes of the "lower" staff, that still understands the importance of hospitality. Es una gran opcion de hospedaje para visitar LA, la zona es muy bonita, el personal de hotel es excelente. Si te tocan vecinos ruidosos, pasaras una noche no muy agradable ya que se escucha todo de un cuarto al otro.
