“We had a really good experience staying at the Outrigger Kauai Resort. The resort had nice pools, hot tubs, restaurants, bars, and a café gift shop. It was also really nice to walk out to the beach to watch sunrises and sunsets. The resort location was close to almost everything we wanted to do. The room was clean and functional with a great view from the lanai.”

“This resort is perfect for people wanting a central location to explore the island. 30 minutes to drive to both the North and south shores. The resort is clean and has everything needed to relax and stay put as well- several pools, 3 restaurants and sits on miles of walkable beachfront. All of the resort staff was so friendly and helpful. The host was spectacular with timely communication and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’ll definitely be back!”

“The room was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. This is a room at a resort with two queen beds just as described, although I felt it was roomier than I expected. The check in was easy with someone at the front desk 24/7, a concierge to help plan outings, a restaurant, several pools (water not heater, but this didn’t bother the kids) and a beach to see sunrises/sunsets from. The lanai faces a greenbelt so there is privacy and the location is such that you can see the water....

“As advertised, but my next trip i will look for a place with more amenities. Microwave 2 floors away, doors slamming at all times day or night. Room furniture was a little shabby, with drawers that wouldn't open. Not a deal breaker but made for a less than 5 star stay.”

“The unit and grounds were lovely, with hot tubs, pools, and secluded beaches. The room was very comfortable and it’s patio had a nice view of the pool areas. The listing did not include the $35/day parking fee information.”

“Neighborhood was extremely quiet(something I am not used to). Poi pu beach estates. Walking distance to beach, restaurant. We rented a car and navigation of the area was simple. Close to many restaurants, store and shops. We would visit this area again.”

“This was one of the best spots on the island to stay in my opinion. We woke up every morning to walk to the beach and watch the sunrise. The pools and grounds were beautiful. The location is close to most of the activities we did on the island. My only complaint was the noisy bullfrog in the pond outside. I would definitely stay here again!”

“This is an older facility but kept in good shape. The grounds are beautiful, but the rooms are pretty average. Great view of the ocean and pools from our room on the 5th floor. The beach is wonderful for walking but not recommended for swimming due to the coral. If you’re looking for a beautiful location in a relaxing and quiet environment, for a reasonable price, this is a good option. “My friends and I stayed at the Nene house for 7 days and we absolutely loved every bit of it! The house itself was very clean and cozy, we felt right at home and look forward to coming back to unwind from our day. The location couldn’t be any more perfect as it is across the street from the beach and we got to watch the sunset every evening, and it was located in a beautiful part of the island. “There isn't a ton to do around here and it was raining but the property itself is clean and cozy and if you were able to go hike it would be an awesome location to stay. It was too rainy for us to do much of anything but the property was great!”

“It was good for our one night stop over. Steep on price for an old hotel… but the people working here are nice, rooms, rooms were clean and the pools were nice. Hate carpet in old hotels and the pull out was beyond uncomfortable. ”
