“Reading other reviews I was a bit worried about staying here but it was great. I had a huge room with a seaview and big modern bathroom with lovely Scottish toiletries. I thoroughly enjoyed a hot bath after a cold day out on the bike. They have a big indoor room around the back of the hotel where you can store your bike. Huge comfortable bed and the room was comfortably warm. Busy, friendly bar and restaurant and I had a lovely steak pie for dinner. Very much enjoyed my stay here.”

“An absolutely beautiful place - the view was spectacular and the guest house was extremely well appointed.
It is VERY far removed from, well, everything.
We loved the space and would highly recommend it, but for at least a couple of nights stay.
Be certain to have a phone that is FULLY functional in the UK (my Canadian phone did not often connect to British data) as we didn't receive our entry access until after we'd had the cleaning lady (who was wonderfully helpful) contact Elly the owner....

“Exceptional views and very comfortable accommodation! Only suggestion for the owner would be to fasten the dishwasher unit to the cabinets as it tipped forward every time it was opened. We loved this location- so peaceful and wonderful to be so close to all the sheep and cows!”

“Majoitus oli helppo löytää, siisti ja lämmin. Lampaiden ja pupujen katselin lisäksi ohi tallusti myös pieni siili. Ihana paikka rentoutua ja lämmitellä pitkän patikointipäivän jälkeen.”

“Had a lovely relaxing 4 night stay in North Light studio as a solo traveller with a dog. We had everything to make our stay comfortable including the complimentary North Uist distillery gin miniatures and Hebridean oatcakes, much appreciated. Weather mixed but we had a beautiful sunset viewed from the front of the studio. I’d highly recommend this stunning studio.
