“Disappointing Management & Unmet Standards - Refund Promised but Delayed
The property failed to meet basic accommodation standards (specifically regarding cleanliness and persistent cigarette odors). Upon my immediate complaint, the owner explicitly promised a full refund in writing, and I checked out on the same day. However, the refund process via Expedia has been unnecessarily complicated. While the natural scenery in Dali is beautiful, the management here was a significant letdown.”

“We had a very restful stay at Qing Pu Villa. it is in a beautiful corner of Jingsuo island. The team took care of us very well, led by Lysand. Food was superb and the rooms are beautifully furnished with adequate facilities for the cold. Ly Sand is warm and friendly, even carrying our 2 month old baby who was fussy while we enjoyed our meals. The staff dried out our shoes with a warmer before we left and they were delightful to wear ! This is a hidden gem!”
