Terrible experience
This was not even fit for an animal to stay in and was in a very bad area no restaurant will deliver to this hotel. I did not feel comfortable or safe and it wasn't even worth 20 dollars let alone the non refundable 50 dollars I spent

I didn't mind the location however, the staff was rude, and i contracted bed bugs while i was at this establishment. When i reported the incident, i was basically laughed at. Although i had video and bites all over my body! We were going to stay another night however, we just couldn't stay in an establishment that infested with bugs with a staff that did not give one crap about critters living in their rooms. The did comp us the night we didnt stay however, i think we should be reimbursed the first two nights we stayed. We booked this hotel because it was thorough you, a company that is respectful and is supposed to be diligent about the hotel. I'm EXTREMELY upset and disappointed with this entire trip. I'm asking you for all of my money back. If you whis to see the viedo, and the bite marks all over my body, I'll be more than happy to send you those items.

Room was the same room I stayed in the time before when I visited tv is pre 1990 carpets haven’t been cleaned or changed in 20 years only half of the lights in room work and staff kicked open door and told my wife it was time to leave!

Where to begin... shower was broken, hair from previous guest all over shower. Used condoms still behind tables. Toilet overflows repeatedly and then icing on cake. Room was broke into by another guest and stole belongings... so fun.. never again.

Nothing the water wouldn't get hot the manager wouldn't switch us rooms then they bang on the door 10am to remind us check out like we didn't know it was uncomfortable

Room was filthy, slept on stained sheets. Asked for fresh sheets & found sheets on the door knob in a plastic bag as the chamber maid never cleaned the room. We hade to change the sheets ourselves & to top it off, those sheets were old & stained as well. They kept the WIFI off the first day. They advertised continental break fast which they at no time provided, not even a cup of coffee. The carpeting in our was filthy & stained. The bath tube had mold around it. We will sleep in our car before we ever stay at this establishment again!

When we checked in, the front desk attendant barely said a word to us. No customer service at all, as if they didn't want to be there. Rented 2 rooms, the main room we stay in the bathroom looked as if we ran the shower would fall apart. The toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall itself and getting toiletries was an issue and was told be make sure we had everything we needed before 3pm... We're here on vacation visiting family and friends, not being couped up in crappy rentals. My apologies for not being able to control everyone's bowels (3 children and 2 adults) with a roll per room only. There was remnants of bedbugs, meaning the stains on the sheets and mattress. There was no microwave and the person at the front sounded as if they were higher than us and asked if I had made sure it was plugged in 😒 and the one in the second room didn't even work, maintenance brought one, but never looked at the other room and the main room had a gunshot hole at the very top of the window. The second room we rented smelled as if it was bombed (for bugs) and the smell lingered, we had to buy spray just to make it barrable to stay in. Could never get any hot water so taking showers was miserable The pictures of this place before we booked our stay, was back when it must have been in it's prime because this place in real time looks like crap. Don't waist your time, money or happiness at this place!

We're sorry for your unpleasant experience. Due to Covid19, our lobby remains closed and guest interactions remain limited. Our front desk received no complaints on record, during your full stay. Our staff accommodated your early check-in as a courtesy, and your request for microwave in room was promptly addressed. We have pest control performed, and may leave lingering scents. We would have switched your room, if you would have addressed that to the staff.

Booked 2 rooms sight unseen ia week in advance due to the storm closing in on our home. Because everyone was leaving the coast by the time we actually left t rooms were booked up for almost all hotels. After driving 4 hours we arrived I ( a disabled veteran, my 80+ year parents with mom in a wheelchair, my 7 1/2 month pregnant daughter and my granddaughter s 3 and 1 ) I checked in and headed to the rooms . The photos show some of what greeted us, mold and some type of stain ( blood?) on mattresses in both rooms. When I brought this to the attention of the manager and asked for different rooms . I ( we ) were asked to leave and he would refund . I explained that we would have to travel 2 1/2 - 3 hours to find another room. While on the phone to Hotels. Com ....he called the local police (because they had nothing better to do during a major weather event) I explained the situation to the officer and he just shook his head. Apparently I had chosen one of the 2 worst hotels in town. .. NEVER AGAIN !! Manager seems to have no respect for people, .only chasing that dollar. I have never felt the need to speak negatively about a business , till this experience. Check your room thoroughly before you hand over your credit card

We had to evacuate due to hurricane Dorian. For those who have never had the experience, it is extremely stressful. We have three dogs so finding a hotel that accepts pets really narrowed our choices. Guest Inn was the only choice available. The room was musty, there was a dead roach on the floor by the table, and a cigarette butt and trash behind the bedside table. Only two small towels in the bathroom. We were glad we had a place to lay our heads, but for the price we paid we surely didn’t get our money’s worth.

The guest inn stay. Never again.
It made the Bates motel look like the Ritz. Nothing was clean, the furniture had cigarette holes in them and the linens were not clean. by the way that photo that is shown is Fake News at its best.

Hurricane hopeful
We evacuated from a hurricane. From the pics and info I had some expectations. When I arrived I was told that my grandchildren who were staying at a church for shelter were welcome to use the pool with me. But the pool was closed for no particular reason. And the continent breakfast was gone when I came down at 8:30. The pics show what looks to be a dinning are which was actually two tables in the corner of the check in area. They need to hire a maintenance man it’s pretty rundown. I will say my room was basically clean. If I am in need of a place to stay I would only stay there if I had no other choice. And the fact that there is no refund if you cancel or leave early makes sense seeing as how if I could have cancelled I would have as soon as I saw the place from the street

Last resort...
It kept us high and dry for evacuation of hurricane but boy oh boy does this place need some TLC. Very sketchy overall feeling. Pool was "closed" and given no reason. The pool was the only reason for staying here, huge let down.

The room was very outdated. Whenever we asked for a fridge for one of our rooms and got told no. We paid full price and couldn’t even get a refrigerator. The AC until leaked water everywhere into our room.

This hotel should not even be on expedia. The only room they could put me in after a hurricaine evacuation was dirty. Not just a little bit dirty, never cleaned dirty. There was dirty underwear and a bra under mattress and the bathroom was filthy. When I complained to the front desk, I was told there wasn't any housekeeping.Poor, poor choice on expedia. No refund either....

the picture you provide is not accurate , it was the biggest dump i've ever stayed in. its an old holiday inn which changed name years ago which no maintenance in years, i could go on for days how bad it was. I intend to write the state & chamber of commerce plus the board of health For that i will never use Expedia ever , ever again. You best do more research on your hotels before you recommend them .

The room was not clean. The toilet alone had not been clean. It had a disgusting film on the seat and the bowl was dirty. The table/counters had not been wiped down, not sure what was sticky on the counters. Didn't stay to find out.

Staff was friendly although we had a problem with checkin. Hotels.com only allows one name on reservation, and if that is not the person checking in there's definitely a problem. Of course the person at the front desk did nothing to remedy the situation until it could be solved the following day.

Couldn’t use toilet or tub. When I called front desk they said they couldn’t either. No service man for repair. Checked out after first night and they didn’t want to refund my next three nights. Called credit card and agreed to only pay for first night. Dirty carpets and furniture! Praying for people to do what’s right!
