“The room is clean that has sufficient tables and chairs, bright and spacious. Parking is available for us as road trippers in short distance from our building (while most guests, presumably cruisers, come with tour buses). Great walking, hiking, mountain-viewing resort-type facilities. However, it's surprising to us that the rooms don't come with Wi-Fi in 2024 when everyone needs it for daily life. “We stayed one night in the main floor suite on our way to a place by Denali park. Very roomy and comfortable. Beautiful setting with the river just a hundred feet or so from the room. We wished we had spent all 4 of our nights here - the park is about 90 minutes away and an easy drive. Plenty to do around Talkeetna and though pretty rustic the area has plenty of dining options. Front desk closes at 5 so this is not a full service hotel but we thought it was great. Very well maintained. Limited...
