Most places have a healthy pigeon population. The pigeons in Alice Springs come with a very cool hairdo:) This crested pigeon was happy to pose for me!

Overall great experience, really can't complain. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly. Only wish the tables outdoors were wiped down or had a hand brush handy to wipe the tree bits off.
