“We came to Fort Davis for a weekend getaway to visit the area and McDonald Observatory. The property was as described and very comfortable. A broom would have been helpful to sweep up the tracked in dust from the yard. Another helpful thing would be either window shades or darker curtains. The sun shone in brightly through the kitchen and bedroom windows and I can see it raising the inside temperature in the summer due to that. “We attended an event at the square. The house is conveniently located near town, making it easy to go back and forth multiple times a day. However, it is also far enough from the town to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.The layout was ideal for our family, with bedrooms situated on both sides of the house. “Great little place. Comfortable ”

“Loved the house! Layout, back area and rooms. A/c in top right room was buzzing loud, could have used but heads up. Coffee lovers; Bring own coffee set up, electric kettle and coffee maker didn’t work. Kuerig on site but pods super old. Was told coffee was good but nah. The fridge didn’t keep cold and was told not to adjust temp. Kept most things in our coolers. If it wasn’t for Marfa prob a different review. Had a good time with fam/friends. Again, cool house!”
