Casas vacacionales en Alpine

“We stayed here for two nights while visiting the McDonald Observatory in the Davis Mountains. The unit itself was clean, the A/C worked very well, and there was plenty of hot water. There were, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The photos of the back patio are outdated. The space currently has a patio table and a plastic picnic table, but the patio table hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The umbrella was a nice touch and provided good shade, but there was an empty water...

“Clean location. Peaceful and host was very accommodating.”

“Cozy place. Room was clean and location was within city limits. Plan on booking again in the near future.”

“I loved everything about it!!!! However the patio up top and the stars go great together!! It was by far the most comfy, cute place I’ve stayed. The calm and quiet was an added bonus! This is the way to go when traveling to Alpine! I can’t wait to visit again! Everything you need in a tiny, comfy place.”

“Very. Clean property. Well locate in town. Great communication and smooth check out.”

“I loved the location, the setup of the house, the eye for detail, and convenience. Great place to stay when visiting the Alpine area.”

“The property was beautiful and we loved the remote feeling. The stars were beautiful to watch at night! My only complaint is that two weeks before the reservation I asked about if a portable grill, stovetop burner or small charcoal grill was aloud and then messaged two days before and never received an answer. I did have to contact the host day of to receive the code because somehow I didn’t get an email from the host about check in and WiFi code. That was sorted out when I called instead of...

“What a great property! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this shipping container home - plenty of room for two of us. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. ”

“It was perfect for me”

“Nice and quiet!”

“Was super and would stay again!! Just need to update information to proved WiFi. ”

“Our stay was amazing! The property was clean and check-in/out was a breeze. Simplicity at its finest. The drive to Big Bend was easy from this location. Sat gazing on the top deck was perfection. Will definitely visit again. ”

“The place was nice and easy to get to. Hosts were friendly. No issues at all, fun place to stay if visiting Big Bend. ”

“My husband and I came for our 31st wedding anniversary. the home is just we were looking for with a beautiful view and close to amenities in Alpine. Very cozy and worked great for our time away to relax and unwind. Highly recommend to others.”

“Very nice. Exactly how pictured”

“It seemed to be kinda located more in downtown area than in a residential area.”

“It was unfortunate that the place was so dirty. It seemed like it did not have a thorough cleaning in a while. The floors were full of dust and clumps of dog hair. The beds had what appeared to be used sheets and the dinnerware was also full of dried pieces of food. There were extra sheets available but some of them also had stains. The shower curtain could definitely be replaced as well. There was stuff stuck along the sides of it, which made showers a little uncomfortable. If it weren't for...

“April is such a gracious host! Katherine’s Cottage exceeds all our needs when we stay in Alpine.”
