New! The Cowboy Boots-Shipping Container Home
- This tiny house has all the amenities of an upscale hotel room yet with unique and exquisite design and decor. A queen size bed with a super-comfy Tuft & Needle mattress will help you fall asleep fast. A full size shower and bathroom is snuggled into the back of the unit and has endless hot water! For your morning coffee a Keurig and K-cups are provided along with a microwave for heating up your popcorn in the evening. Climb up to the rooftop deck for stargazing or your morning coffee.
This unique home started as a 20` shipping container. Our build company, CargoHome, insulates and panels the interior in pine shiplap and trims it out with high craftsmanship. The outside is clad with cedar siding, spaced to allow the original container to still be seen. The fun rooftop deck is surrounded by a custom cable railing system. LED lights inside and a super-quiet, efficient mini-split AC unit makes this a comfortable, energy efficient space.
The house and rooftop deck are all yours!
Great, safe neighborhood in the country just south of Alpine. 4 minutes to downtown Alpine. 1 hour to Big Bend National Park.

The sky view at night was not as dark as expected. Location is close to some towers with lights on at night, plus general reflected lights. Sunrise views from up top were lovely.

A really unique and great stay!
I've never stayed in a tiny / container type place before. This place was incredible. Everything has its perfect place and you don't feel like it's cramped. The deck to hang out and enjoy the desert vistas made the morning pretty magical; we were treater to a full rainbow in the distance.

Peaceful getaway
We enjoyed our well appointed tiny house. It truly is tiny, but we spent as much time as we could on the rooftop deck enjoying the scenery and beautiful skies. You have a great view of Sul Ross University up on the hill. It was close enough to Alpine to be handy, but far enough out to be quiet and peaceful.

Anniversary Getaway
Agent Jessica was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We’ve been visiting Alpine for several years and my wife stated that this was the most enjoyable stay we experienced. My wife is visually impaired however she was able to witness the sunset from our unit. Her excitement was confirmation I made the correct cohoice in selecting this Villa. We are definitely coming back!”

Maybe for some, but not for us
Not clear that this container is in a park of containers a car width apart. The most beautiful interior, but deceptive wide angle lens photography makes the place look a lot bigger than it is. I think it would be perfect for one, it was tight for a couple of thin people (us) but would be impossible for some Texas sized folks. The only place to eat is up on the windy deck above and we had to crouch to not hit our heads on the spiral stair to get there. This place has the most luxurious towels I have ever experienced, and yet the thinnest toilet paper on the planet. We brought left overs to reheat but there were NO PLATES or CUTLERY yet there was a huge knife in what passes as a kitchen. The office (elsewhere) had to call a local to bring us some disposables so we could eat. If you are going to eat popcorn and drink wine as their listing suggest beware that this is about all you can do, plan on eating out. For the price this was a disappointment. If you are young and just needing a night stay on your way to Big Bend, it might work, but it was not for us.
