“We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

“The property was in a great place for walks . You can walk to a pub with a beautiful view of the sea only 20 minutes on the coast path at your front door. Beautiful beaches dotted around the peninsula . Great views from the cottage,very peaceful . ”

“Very clean. Lovely staff. Everything needed. Room bit dated. Its old, yes but building crumbling. Magical grounds but quite run down. Rotten benches. Muddy. Could be prettier.Never saw Estuary up like is on website. Just mud banks.Nature eh but not the idylic setting expected. But we did have a nice time. Restaurant food average pub fayre not well done. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s in a peaceful location, yet conveniently close to local shops. The travel cot and high chair were provided, which we appreciated. However, the cot came packed away, and the second bedroom didn’t have much space to set it up comfortably.
We also noticed that the cottage didn’t have baby gates, which would have been helpful.
