“The room was very clean and tidy the bath and shower were good and the TV worked. All good. ”

“I arrived early ahead of friends but our room was all ready and i was given a very friendly welcome. I think it was Caitlin who carried my case up to our room which was a huge suite and spotlessly clean. Plenty of complimentary teas,coffees and biscuits available in the room. A little later Cam helped my friends up to the room. Both Caitlin and Cam are a great asset to the hotel. Our lunch was excellent and we've thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

Breakfast was very good, cooked items could sometimes have been a little better ( compared with previous visit in 2024), and the same goes for the dinner on a few occasions. “A lovely place to stay. Beautiful room , very smart and clean, lovely river views, comfy bed and spotless linen.Only downside to room 19 is the noise during the day and early eve from people eating below on the terrace, but very quiet overnight. Also before 9am in the morning, hammer banging and electric drill noise outside window next to our headboard, suggest workmen check if room occupied before commencing work! But overall would recommend a stay, the staff were all very friendly and...

“What a great weekend spent at this amazing hotel. The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was huge, extremely clean and had a great view of the horses in the neighbouring field. The main selling point for us was that this hotel was dog friendly. Needless to say, we will be returning next year.”
