“Hotel correcto”

“Room was clean and tidy, bathroom was spacious (in previous occasions I've been assigned smaller bathrooms in which it was difficult to get in/out of the bath). Very quiet room even though it's next to the main road. I'd like it more if they provided the usual hotel amenities in the room (e.g. a bath cap). Breakfast is quite nice, a continental and full English buffet. Overall, I like the place.”

“A fantastic BnB, the owner has done a great job creating a really nice property here that also has a cool laid-back vibe as well as all the amenities you could wish for. Couldn’t have been more helpful as a host too - wish we’d stayed longer but as we were on a tour round the island we only had one night!”

“Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and lovely to speak to throughout our short stay. The hotel is immaculately kept and tastefully furnished. Our room was spacious (family room with a queen bed and bunk beds for our 2 children was a dream for them) and had great amenities. Bathroom was clean and basic toiletries were supplied along with shaving and dental kits. Enjoyed our short stay and would highly recommned.”

“Lovely accommodation in a pretty, quiet village. Pub closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so needed to drive or a 20 minute walk to find somewhere to eat. There is a nice village shop across the road. The pub breakfast and dinner were both good on Wednesday. Tbh it was really nice to be somewhere so quiet and peaceful and it seems many restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in IOW. Would recommend, especially if you have a car. Owners helpful and easily reached on Whatsapp. Good walks nearby.”

“The hotel and the pub are very tired and in desperate need of rlc and upgrade/refurb. Stains on everything from floors to ceiling. Chairs in the room and the bar that should be in the bin. The cleaners do a great job but the whole place needs dealing with. Green King you are better than this. ”

“It's as if you have gone back in time s really nice feel about the place the staff are great friendly and helpful far enough away but still accessible to Lymington and the surrounding area a lovely place”

“The hotel is being rescued so it’s very basic. Bar and restaurant closed. Bit 1970s. Good luck to the new owners. They use minimum staff and cannot yet exploit the real potential. Eg hairdryer broke down immediately and no-one on desk. You get what you pay for which is fair, but minimal. It’s really look after yourself AB&B. Would I stay again. Yes if budget was the big issue. No if we wanted atmosphere and attention.”

“Best value around (booked direct when Expedia hiked the price - worth checking if it's close to stay date), v helpful manager and staff, sorted a TV problem quickly. Good traditional restaurant and bar. Good parking, and eye candy across the road for yachties. Standard room clean, quiet, and comfortable, with fridge and iron, and better-than-average tea/coffee making. Bathroom a bit on the small side, and plumbing rather tired, but not a problem.”
