“Großes sauberes Zimmer, hilfsbereite und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Der Pool war gut für eine Erfrischung. Das uns für zubereitete Abendessen war reichlich und köstlich. Das englische Frühstück gab uns genug Energie für den Tag.
Kühlschränk und Wasserkocher funktionierten und würden oft genutzt.Trotz der Nähe zur Straße waren die Zimmer ruhig.”

“When I arrived at the property, despite me canceling my previous reservation, they were confused as they saw two reservations, and even after me showing that I had canceled it, they still gave me a hard time. They should have better communication with the booking agency so that this does not happen to someone else in future. The room was OK but nothing spectacular. Definitely not a five star hotel by any means .”

“Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property.
The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return.”

“Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds.
Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver.
A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more...

“Very rural location which meant we were very aware of the noise of village dogs during the night.
It is an 8 minute tuktuk ride from the Dambulla bus stand, but only a 600 metre walk to the access to the Dambulla Cave Temples.
The bathroom was tired and could do with a significant refresh.”

“This property is so serene and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery. You can see plenty of wild life from peacocks, iguanas to gecko’s, which we got to experience first hand.
We were told that sometimes elephants venture and drink from the river further away from the property that can be seen from the rooms, we were unlucky not to see them
The staff were all really friendly, kind and accommodating.
Lovely, clean swimming pool.
We came as a family of 5 to climb Sigiriya and en route to the East...

“Stree free experience filled with wonderful food, relaxation, and beauty. Every detail of our activities, shopping, and travel was thoughtfully arranged by our hostess, Jennifer, with more care than I would ever take for myself. She took the time to understand our food preferences and prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners using fresh, local produce from the estate. We felt completely pampered and exceptionally well cared for throughout our stay”
