“This was a perfect location for our family of 14 to stay. It was quiet and peaceful, with leisure activities that were perfect for us. ”

“Cabin was cozy, clean, and eclectic. We enjoyed reading the varied books, magazines, and newspapers in the cabin. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. Enjoyed sitting on the dock and riding in the boat. My husband even caught a few pike. Cabin was conveniently located for taking care of business in Ely. Host, Jeff, was a pleasure. ”

“Decorating touches, velvet curtains and every thoughtful amenity. Comfy bed and bedding, even an “upscale” outhouse w art on wall. Next best thing to tent camping which I can no longer do. I will be back. Great getaway.”

“Had a wonderful time staying in the wolf cabin. It had everything we needed and the cabin and bathrooms are incredibly clean. The property is simple and easy going. We had a wonderful time kayaking and canoeing on the lake. It’s exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we hope to return next summer. ”

It was a great location for our daily adventures to many of the area State Parks, all the way up to Grand Portage. “Great, great place. Cute, super clean and very attentive owners. Stocked with absolutely everything! From umbrellas to bug spray, Kleenex, shampoo, extra blankets and the list goes on. This place had it all and then some. Great dock with power and perfect fish cleaning station. We loved it here. Thanks Lisa and Phil!”

“A touch cool but we expected that. Close to many parks and walking and hiking paths. Great small cabin with all the basics. We relaxed so much that we rarely left over the course of our 3 night stay. The firm bed made me a touch restless but with any home away from home there are always a few adjustments.”
