“Cabin was cozy, clean, and eclectic. We enjoyed reading the varied books, magazines, and newspapers in the cabin. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. Enjoyed sitting on the dock and riding in the boat. My husband even caught a few pike. Cabin was conveniently located for taking care of business in Ely. Host, Jeff, was a pleasure. ”

The weather was perfectly mixed, and topping off a chilly morning walk or a toasty afternoon climb with a sauna and then a beer on the deck was amazing!! “A touch cool but we expected that. Close to many parks and walking and hiking paths. Great small cabin with all the basics. We relaxed so much that we rarely left over the course of our 3 night stay. The firm bed made me a touch restless but with any home away from home there are always a few adjustments.”

“We stayed at Alex & Kate's A-Frame in Tofte while competing at spring races at Lutsen. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating with our needs, and the house is fantastic. Easily fit the 7 of us, with a great space for hanging out after the day of skiing. And the Sauna was incredible! Easy to use, and really made for a great way to end the day. Well appointed kitchen, amazing deck with views of Lake Superior, quiet setting - just perfect. Will keep this place on our go-to when back...
