“This was absolutely perfect for me and my husband's mini moon! The location was gorgeous, we loved having fires on the beach and waking up to the view of Lake Superior. It's centralized so that we could walk everywhere within Grand Marais. We did hear some noise from the people staying upstairs, but it was minimal and did not impact the enjoyability of our stay whatsoever. Highly recommend staying here!”

“We were very satisfied with our accommodations. Spacious rooms. Plenty of room in kitchen to cook our meals. The only thing I would suggest is that they put at least one end table or coffee table by the couch.”

We spent most of our time hiking, but our time spent at the Studio provided everything we needed, especially the wonderful, easy access to the lake. The quiet, beautiful, naturally landscaped neighborhood was relaxing, yet all the conveniences of town were just minutes away. Would definitely recommend staying at The Studio.”

“We *loved* our stay. I knew the location would be great (basically next door to the International Wolf Center in Ely), but I didn't know in advance how spacious, quiet, and green the place would be. We enjoyed playing a number of the board games in the evenings. My spouse and I were both especially taken by the adorable groundhog who lives outside under the deck, and who popped up at times to bathe in the summer sun. ”

“Great little 2 BR condo close to the Creamery and greatest donuts. Short walk to dining or groceries. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need. Bedding and towels great. King bed could use a new mattress.”
