“We had a lovely stay at the Donkey house. Donkey house is a nicely re-done older Arizona ranch home sitting on a big piece of land in a very quiet area. Close to great hiking and restaurants but off the beaten path. Perfect for what we were looking for, Donkeys were like big dogs that didn't bark, just hanging around in their coral area playing or lying in the sun. Great break from Chicago winter.”

“Great location in walking distance of downtown (maybe 5 or 6 blocks). Nice home with outdoor space; we sat outside and talk with the locals as they passed by. Plenty of supplies. Very clean! If you are older, the bed was a little high, but comfortable and it is a bigger step to get in the tub. Overall great stay! ”

“The acorn acres farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay! The pictures do not do it justice. The farmhouse was exceptionally clean and well kept. It's beautifuly put together with a wonderful farmhouse feel. From the clean linens, down pillows, comfortable bed and couch, relaxing kitchen and incredibly peaceful reading room, you will love this place! We stayed for a week and watched deer walk thru the property every evening. It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the national forest...
