“We stayed one night in one of the Garden Suites. However we were disappointed to find the buildings and grounds dirty and not maintained very well. Trees required trimming and overgrown areas needed clearing as they were attracting a lot of flies and midgies.

“Highly recommend. Room was a good size and nicely presented. It is literally above the pub but has it's own entrance and it's not a noisy pub. The breakfast is downstairs in the pub and was very good, cooked to order. We would have happily eaten in the pub in the evening as well, if we weren't out exploring. Idillic location next to the stream with outside seating for a drink in the evening.”

“We booked this last minute and, given the price, I wasn’t expecting much—but I was genuinely surprised at how great our stay turned out to be. The accommodation had everything we needed, and the very good WiFi included in the price was a big bonus.
The onsite restaurant served delicious, reasonably priced food, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I also have to mention the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout.

“The property seems to be family owned and seemed to be run a bit slap dash. The pictures online have had some photo shopping and first impressions were a bit of a letdown. Staff were thin on the ground and some were inexperienced in hospitality. The room was clean and tidy, although we did look in a suite which looked really nice so I would suggest you book one of these if you go. Excellent breakfast and food at the bar at night was excellent. Big up to the chef.
