“Positives: I loved the location. Next to walking paths, restaurants, grocery store, athletic fields, aquatic center, and Potomac overlook. Close to DC without being in it. I felt safe in the area. Negatives: I did not like having to provide a selfie for me and IDs for relatives staying with me. This was due to no front desk personnel on site: I had to deal with issues through customer service personnel in another state. I was very disappointed when a maintenance worker walked into the apartment...

“Three story townhouse sandwiched between others. Only issues with noise at night. There's a park close by that's frequented by lots of families in the evening. Driving into DC was pretty easy, and this home was a great base of operations. Some details in the house were a little shabby, which is understandable as a full-time rental.”

“Great location and really cool mid century modern home. Hosts were very responsive.”

“Don’t stay here. I checked in and the beds were dirty, there were dishes in the sink, and the bathroom was dirty as well. I called the host to help me. I sent photos. They said they would try to help me. And there was no response for an hour or afterwards. I couldn’t stay in a dirty bed so I had to book another hotel. As of today, I have not received any response from the host, or reimbursement, or apology.”

“We loved it! The apartment looked just like the pictures. It was close to everything we needed- 10 minute walk to Pentagon, 10 minute walk to metro train. The only down fall was we didn't know about paying for parking - we found out the day we left though so were able to get it taken care of before we arrived. We parked the car and never moved it until the day we left. Everyone was very helpful and we were contacted several times by wehost to make sure we had all we needed. When we had questions...

“The host was attentive and responded to my emails ahead of our visit in a timely manner. He also came to the house during our stay to make sure everything was ok and provided us with more flatware since we had 16 people for Thanksgiving dinner. The house was advertised as being immaculate and it was. There was also sufficient cookware and serving dishes for all the sides we planned for. “The property was in a very walkable location of Pentagon City and was large. We walked to Pentagon City and many restaurants. The apartment was dirty, we had to wash the sheets on the main bed before we could sleep on it. The floor needed to be mopped and there were food stains on a couple of cabinets. The vacuums and mops were stored in the main bedroom closet where we had to hang our clothes. Not enough trash bags or toilet paper, we ran out.”

“Plenty of room and clean. Kitchen lacks the amount of pots/pans for a large group. Keurig needs to be descaled. Extra towels and washcloths should be provided as well as blankets. Host was accommodating when renting the theater room. No check out instructions were provided. Overall, it was what we needed for a large group even though the neighbors don’t seem to be very happy about having a VRBO on their street. ”
