“Enjoyable stay”

“Lovely old inn with well appointed clean rooms. Had evening meal which was excellent. Breakfast was also well cooked and delicious. It had a lovely ambience.”

“Room not big enough for : suitcases What floor space there was was taken by a free standing AC unit the size of a small bar refrigerator which roared like a 747 picking clothes for the day involved houdini like manoeuvres!”

“Habitación grande, cama cómoda, tranquilidad del entorno, desayuno correcto. Buen eifi”

“We booked through Expedia who then passed the wrong dates onto the accommodation.”

“A great place to stay, especially when the sun is shining! Very comfortable room and a lovely breakfast.”

“Amazing location and charming spot. The room was very comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. The pub and wonderful outdoor area attracted many locals and travellers. The walks to and from Birling Gap were stunning. What a spot!!”

“Great stay here - we arrived around 20:00 on a horrible stormy Saturday and were greeted and checked in cheerfully and quickly. Room was small but had everything we needed. We had dinner in the pub and that was a genuinely lovely, I'd go back here again just for a meal. Portions were generous and the food was delicious. There's a few games and things in the bar, and they came in very handy when there was a brief power cut (it was Boelo, it was very windy). Emma quickly handed out candles for...

“My son loved that there was Disney plus as a bonus. However our shower didn't work and I had to ask to use the one next door. 3x a member of staff came to try it, the last time we were in bed and no it still wasn't working. No compensation of any kind was offered, not even a free dessert after we had paid for dinner. Bathroom was a bit grubby and there was just a piece of foam under the sheet and no mattress protector. Breakfast was OK but no offer of fruit, cereal or juice. Had to ask for a...

“Everything was absolutely fantastic, couldn’t find a fault at all. Brilliant accommodation, superb food, great atmosphere, really friendly & helpful staff and a really all round first class experience. Thank you, we will be back sometime.”

“excelente lugar muy cómodo y inmejorable servicio ”

“Todo el personal amable”

“Great location, staff was very friendly and cooked us a very tasty breakfast. Room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Street parking was very full so had to park one street away but promenade and restaurants are all within walking distance so no need to move the car after securing a spot.”

“La habitacion muy caliente, limpia y todo lo necesario (galletas, cafe, te)”

“Friendly staff, nice size room, renovated bathroom. Bed could be better, springy and noisy when partner rolls over. Parking if your lucky on street outside. Breakfast fantastic, continental buffet and cooked to your request.”

“Modern hotel - nice reception area and nice looking restaurant that served average food with poor service. Room was small and poorly laid out - strange desk area and chair inhibited movement and made it difficult to move suitcases around. Good shower. Worst aspect was dinner experience - food was ok and service a bit patronising about what we should be ordering as extras. Paid the bill and left only to be sent a bill on the journey home saying we owed money for a dinner bill. I rang them to...
