“Lovely traditional B&B very close to the centre of Ambleside. The room was clean, warm and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable! Joanna was a great host and I felt very welcome and safe as a solo guest. The breakfast room was charming and I enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast on offer. The only minor negatives were the shower and the lack of hygiene bags in the bathroom. I also struggled to access the apps on the smart TV. “Got a last minute deal and was then upgraded. Very comfy bed, quiet room wifi worked well , refurbished shower hot and strong. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious . Minimal staff tried hard and very friendly. ”

“Self check instructions were clear. Room was serviced while we were out. Help via the phone was immediate when we needed it. Room clean and spacious. All very good. Only downside was that car park was a good 5-8 minute walk away… but at least there was parking as opposed to there being none. Needed window open as warm weather but that lead to noise disturbance. Of course that was due to fabulous central location - I realise you can’t have central and quiet! I’d stay again, thank you. ”

El cuarto era muy pequeño y por preservar un estilo, hay cosas desafortunadamente incómodas para el viajero o la vida de hoy. El baño tenía una pileta de pie, cero lugar para apoyar los 2 necessaires de viaje. Las canillas eran de fria por un lado y caliente por el otro. Sin mezcladora. O sea que para lavarse las manos hay que llenar la pileta o congelarse la derecha mientras...

“We had a great room that was that was perfect for our short stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large on-suite. The extra space was needed as we traveled with our dog. The property has lovely grounds to explore and it’s close to pubs. I highly recommend this property. ”

“Luke's Hoose felt really homely as soon as we opened the door. Great views from the elevated living room, looking over the town and hills beyond. So close to the main street so was easy to access all the shops, bars etc.”

“Apartment was really nice, roomy and comfortable, ideal for two couples. I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids due to proximity to a bar and noise in the evening. Only other niggle was that while the apartment was well kitted out in general, we had to go out and buy hand wash and toilet roll. Not ideal if arriving late and those are expected provisions in my mind. Overall though, I would recommend as handy central location and it was in good condition. View from the living room was...
