However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. I pointed out that it said two eggs but we only got one each. The waiter was apologetic but just said it...

“Das gute zuerst: der Strand ist direkt über die Straße zu erreichen und wir hatten das Glück, einen Parkplatz (gebührenpflichtig) direkt vor der Tür zu bekommen. Uns wurde ein Zimmer im DG zugewiesen, zu welchem wir trotz Aufzug noch eine enge Treppe hinauf mussten. Es war dort betörend heiß, es gab keinen Ventilator oder eine Klimaanlage, die Fenster konnten waren nur kleinen Spalt hochgeschoben und konnten nicht bewegt werden, da sie defekt waren.”

Outside there is a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the sun and watch the harbour side activity. “The improvements which could be made to improve the property would be to have a shower, there is only a shower attachment on the bath and with the sloping ceiling it resulted in having to kneel down in the bath to shower, a pain for hubby. There were also a few cracks in the bathroom floor which could do with being fixed as water marks on ceiling below. No washing machine either which with a family would make it very difficult. Rugs in living room really need replacing, I’ve given it 4 stars due...

“Room was lovely . However there was lumps of hair on the carpet where it had not been hoovered . no toilet brush in the room . Black bits on the bed . milk splashes on the wall socket and on the little drew the tea was in . VERY hot in the room and hotel . Lovely coffee from the coffee shop . Bath room lovely and clean nice soap and shower gel . Plenty of towels . Lovely helpful staff . Breakfast was ok . Lift dirty . no beach view we had a brick wall for a view . Hotel setting was beautiful...
