Decent hotel
5 night stay. Never used the pool but checked the water and it was warm, hot tub was colder than the pool though. Breakfast is interesting, it’s a free breakfast coupon for the attached restaurant. The one downside is you have to go collect a coupon every single day from the front desk. They should just give you your entire trip’s coupons. A couple fire alarms needed new batteries and were chirping in the halls. Also some alarm clock in a distant room was randomly going off every couple hours.

Hot tub not working
When I walked in to check in I waited over 5 minutes before I was greeted. After being on the road for 5 hours my husband wanted to relax in the hot tub only to find out the jets and heater were not working. The bathroom tub was disgusting, drain falling apart.

Excellent Hotel
This is a great place to stay - I travel for business a hundred and fifty days a year. I have stayed at several other locations in the Artesia market over the years and this one is the best!

As you walk into this place it’s absolutely beautiful. Like a resort type feel. Just awesome. Full cook to serve breakfast was delicious. Room was clean and quiet. The pool and hot tub was perfect after a long day of traveling. Price was on point and I will probably stay here again if I’m in the area.

The location is safe and convenient. Cher in the restaurant was particularly helpful and I greatly appreciate her. The front desk staff were all kind and helpful. The handicap room had some very good equipment. However, the water was scalding! Didn't matter how you turned the knobs, you cannot get the temperature right. Then, if the temperature will change mid shower, likely because of others showering or flushing toilets. The lighting in the bathroom is terrible for putting on makeup and the little entry also has no lighting. We had family in two other rooms who experienced all of the above. Really need to update lighting and fix that water issue - that could be very dangerous to a child or handicapped person. Finally, the security needs to be improved. The card access on the doors behind the billing are non existent. Anyone can come and go without a hotel key. It appears that there used to be a card reader on the doors, but they have been ripped off or taken off.

The only complaint we have was the restaurant in the hotel was not up to par and the wait staff was awesome but the management was not up to par with the service they are providing to the customers. Our dinner was not to great and the desert which was a mix berry pie, that was old and flat they served it hot from the microwave which made it worst. breakfast was limited on the meat and options we would stay there again but will not eat at the restaurant there again unless it has change to new management.

We chose this motel because of the swimming pool and hot tub. When we got there it was too late to change hotels and they said the pool had been down for months so it should’ve been advertised as not having a pool. It really was beyond disappointing after being on the road all day and anticipating a soak in the hot tub and a refreshing swim. We should be compensated especially since we stayed in Best Westerns 3 nights over the past 2 weeks.

Nice hotel. The vouchers for breakfast were awesome and the food was great. The restaurant is privately owned but in the same hotel. It is lacking in cleanliness but the staff were nice. The room was fine. There were a few forgotten cleanliness issues but overall ok.

New Mexico stop.
This place was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. If i have the option for a best Western again i will take it. The people were nice and friendly. The food was pretty good. They have bed bug covers on their beds that's a big plus for me.
