The Magnolia was perfect for two. Check in process including codes for the doors was very easy. K-cup coffee machine a plus. Overall, very comfortable. The location of this property is exceptional for the food scene, breweries, and shopping. Utilized the indoor parking garage one block away.

RAD Half Marathon

We stayed in downtown Asheville for the upcoming RAD Half Marathon on June 8. 2025. The condo was accurately described as shown in the pictures. It was easily accessible to the event and all places in town.

A Hidden Gem

The Altamont Condos are a hidden gem in downtown Asheville. They are well-maintained, comfortable, and pet-friendly. Great restaurants, shopping, and pubs are within walking distance. Prices are reasonable!

Our trip to Asheville

We really enjoyed our stay at the this condo. The location is amazing. It's so easy to walk to everything in downtown Asheville. The condo itself was a great size for the two of us and the porch was a wonderful place to sit and have a glass of wine after walking around all day. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Asheville.

This place is all about location. You can walk to everything which we did. We could tell this place hasn’t had anyone stay in a while. It was musty at first and the cleaning was not so great. The ‘Bedroom’ is more just a room no windows or closet but there is a small one in the hall. If you want to stay in a great location this is it. Cleaners just need to do more.

Great Spot

My wife and I were very pleased staying at the Altamonte property. The location was great and gave us access to everything in downtown Asheville. The instructions were clear around parking and entering the facility. The unit was cozy and well laid out. We would definitely stay on this property property again.

Cute and Convenient

The property is located off Church St making it quiet but accessible to everywhere downtown. You can hear the neighbors but for sleeping the sound machine drowns them out. Our dog was excited by the neighboring unit’s two frequent barkers though occasionally. We really appreciated the supply closet in the hallway and the added touch of ice cubes. Ice cubes seems like a small thing but it was a wonderful detail to provide. It kept us from having to run back out after getting settled! We’ll stay here again for sure!

Walkable To Everything

My husband and I were in town for a concert at Harrah's Cherokee Center, and this condo is in a great location. We parked our car, and other than ubering to the concert (because it was raining) we walked everywhere all weekend. We had 2 little dogs with us, and there was plenty of grass right around the condo for walking them.

Anniversary

We love the area, so we wanted to spend our Anniversary there. Biltmore etc. Condo was as advertised. A bit cramped in the kitchen. Need a place to put luggage, No dresser in the bedroom. Know it’s an old building, with all the things that go with that. Toilet needs some maintenance, had to pour water in the toilet tank to flush several times. Slow fill ! Overall it was a great trip.

Small bit of comfort downtown

A nicely appointed apartment next to a pair of churches ensured a peaceful stay yet just blocks from Asheville's best restaurants and shops. The location was great for walking around and enjoying this charming city, even our dog had a great time.

As advertised, minus lack of HVAC temperature control

Location is great but they do not allow you to control the temperature. The coldest allowed is 68, which isn’t good for someone in menopause. The neighbors upstairs can be heard walking (bring white noise), no worries until they are heard from 1am to 4 am. Lots of mentally I’ll homeless, but that’s an Asheville/US problem.
