  • Welcome to your private suite in the South Slope, near over a dozen of Asheville renowned breweries and just a 10 minute walk to Downtown Asheville which is filled with shopping, arts/culture and restaurants. We live and work in Asheville, with our 3 kids, dog and cat. The apartment is private and makes a comfortable place to land after a day enjoying nature, local restaurants and breweries, taking in cultural events or visiting the world-famous Biltmore.

We enjoyed our stay here at South Slope. It was conveniently located close to Asheville and within driving distance of blue ridge parkway, chimney rock, Mount Mitchell, DuPont state park, Biltmore estate and Pisgah forest. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They supplied us with a cooler for our hiking and extra towels for our stay. The garden outside the door was pretty and we saw a lot of wildlife every morning and evening. We would stay here again.

Cute little downstairs apartment! We really enjoyed our stay on the South Slope while attending Billy Strings concerts. It’s perfect for a couple looking to go downtown.

We loved the place. It was quiet and cozy with easy walking access to downtown Asheville. It was well equipped with all the amenities we could need. The host was responsive and we would definitely stay again.

From the accuracy of the description of the property to its cleanliness, everything was spot-on. Be mindful that this is a basement apartment, so you'll be going up and down a hill to go from apartment to your vehicle. Also, because you're in the basement, there will be some noise from the people living on the floor above. However, we found the noise to be minimal and didn't disrupt our sleep. For our purposes, the location was great, being within walking distance of good restaurants.

Cozy place

It was a nice, cozy little place close to everything in Asheville. It’s walkable to breweries and a short drive to the Biltmore. It was a great place with everything you need for a getaway weekend.

Clean, efficient, nice appointments, great location. Amazing views and a neat set of flowers and fun garden, as well.Really enjoyed being in the heart of South Slope. If you’re a brewery fan, there are tons within a few minutes of walking. Lots to do around the area and Asheville, also.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway. It was close (10 min walk) to downtown shops and breweries. Parking was available off street which was a plus.

Great spot

Great location! Clean and nice for 2 people. No TV which isn’t a big deal, but would be nice when taking a break and hanging around the place. Great place though.

Great place to stay in Asheville NC

Great location, close to activities of interest, art studios, restaurants, brewpubs, and hiking. Very clear communication with host. Tastefully decorated rental with all of the amenities we needed. Would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

The location is great, just a 10-20 minute walk to anywhere downtown. Just off the beaten path, so it’s an affordable and quiet place to stay, equipped with all basic needs. Just as advertised :)

Great little apartment a short walk into brewery areas

The apartment was well appointed and had everything that would be needed. Parking was easy on site, and walking down to the south slope brewery area or downtown was easy and convenient.
